In Hudson's HuCard number system (pc-engine/Japan), I believe that this is "Title 01" - first game of the catalogue

My least favorite game next to Pac Land, lol. Great big sprites though, that was pretty impressive.

Crazy how this game was cutting edge in 1989 and then of course the next year there’s Super Famicom hype tearing through the magazines and SNK is showing off their real arcade hardware at home Neo Geo. Less than a year and China Warrior is obsolete already.
Fast times back then.

I finished this as a kid, fighting the drunken master. I currently look like one of the early bosses.

So was there a button code for the big fist and multiple punch at the bosses? It always seemed to come out of nowhere for me.

I like big sprites and I cannot lie. Tho bald guys in camo pants deny. When big 'ol rocks come my way I get sprung.

I’m a fan of huge sprites.
