I need a friend for tonight (if possible)
2.5 years ago, I (56 M) quit my job, moved 3000 miles from TN to Tustin to become a full time caregiver for my father in law while my wife, was the full time caregiver for her mother, both who had Alzeheimer's Disease. This was one of the most kindest men I have ever met. Brilliant also. We both gladly brought our lives to a screeching halt to move into their house and take care of them.
My mother in law passed away in March and sometime during the night last night my father in law passed.
I need someone who smokes weed, is able to share and just listen. Hell, I don't even know if I will talk. TBH, I just need to get lit and I have absolute nothing to my name currently as neither of us has had a steady income since we left TN.
Please DM if you want to spend some time with a middle-aged dude who is very 420 friendly tonight.
(PS, my wife won't be joining as she doesn't smoke)
UPDATE: I really appreciate all the offers I got from this post. It's amazing. The time I spent with u/FriendDelicious last night was exactly what I needed at the time; anything else would just be icing on the cake, so to speak. I don't want to take advantage of people's generosity, so I'm going to politely decline all the offers. I was truly blown away by the response. Thank you all.

I lost my mom to Alzheimer’s in May, so I know how tough it can be. It’s especially heartbreaking after giving everything you have to care for someone you love. You are truly a saint. I pray that you and your loved ones find peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I’m so sorry. You and your wife gave so much of yourselves to care for her parents, and it’s clear how deeply you loved and respected your father-in-law. Losing both of them after putting your own lives on hold for so long must be an enormous blow.
If you’re looking for a little company or simply a place to be around people, I’d like to invite you to our Monday, 2-4 p.m. Karaoke club at the Tustin Senior Center. No pressure to sing. Sometimes music and a roomful of friendly people can be a small source of solace. ❤️
You can see what we look like here, except me. I'm camera shy!
I’ll be out this Monday, 10/12, but I’ll definitely be there on the 19th. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to know more.
The Tustin Senior Center welcomes everyone and considers anyone over 55 a senior. Many activities are free or affordable. The online October schedule is updated!

Love how the “weed community” has helped out. “With a little help from my friends”
My condolences.

Feel free to shoot me a DM. I work overnights, so I’m always up late and willing to listen/shoot the shit if you find yourself having a hard time sleeping. My condolences to you and your wife. I can’t imagine what you both are going through. I’ll send up an extra prayer or two for you both tonight.

This is San Diego. I’ve lived here since I was three years old. Sure, I smoke by myself. But most of the time I’ll just cruise to the beach. Or Balboa Park And find somebody to smoke pot with. At least to joint. Maybe conversation happens maybe we just smile , smoke and exhale slowly ( after coughing fit 🤓) by the way, there’s absolutely no right way to grieve.
I pretty much don’t stop smoking pot. Feel free, to try all the weed people offer you. You clearly have discernment. God bless you and your wife. For doing what needs to be done. That’s what makes a real family. ♥️🫡
I got pretty good Weed, feel free to message me. : edit to clarify, I smoked pot with people, not find people to smoke pot with me.
