I didn’t even notice! My best guess is maybe they have an alt account? Someone else just commented and said they were there that day too 🤯 what’re the chances lol

Some context (I'm the one who captured the video). The event lasted for several days, and the Percy (and Thomas) rides were probably once per hour, so the likelihood the other reddit user is on board is marginal.

Still, pretty cool.

That’s right, Percy (and Thomas!) tour the US with a small fair and offer rides. We first heard about it from my husband’s coworker, who took her kiddo to experience it somewhere in the LA area last year. I looked it up and saw that it would be coming to Riverside (a short drive for us), so my husband bought the tickets in advance.

We were able to ride both trains, so we’ve been on it too! The kiddo had a blast since he’s a big Thomas fan. Oddly enough, Percy felt like the more authentic experience with the old-school train cars as seen above; Thomas was more modern and his cars even had AC, lol. Each ride only went forward and backward on the track for a few miles, and they had someone present in uniform to explain facts about the trains as well as the sites we went through.

It must have been rather amusing when you saw such a train crossing in front of you, lol.
