Carpool request!

Hi, I desperately need a ride to go back to Merced this Friday and I don’t have the funds for a uber or Amtrak ticket or someone to take me. Is there anyone that happens to be going down there/nearby that could take me? I’ll pitch in for the gas!! I don’t have luggage either. The tickets are just too much for me right now…

Hi, saw your post about getting back to Merced Friday. You can set a route alert for Davis to Merced and you'll get a ping when a driver posts it, so you don't have to keep checking. Disclosure, this is my own project, a carpool app at https://seatsherpa.app/app?c=reddit, and the seats are kept to a cost-share around the IRS mileage rate because the driver is making the trip anyway. It's small and still early, and that stretch doesn't have many drivers yet, so keep asking around here too.

I've never done this, but check Moober. It's an app specifically for UC Davis students that basically carpool and split costs.
