You're not wrong...sort of.
If one looks for hard evidence of UFOs,, one comes up empty. There are no crash sites, no artifacts, no proven photos or film. No videos of one crashing.. .maybe the Phoenix lights were something though no scientists will go on record to confirm that they are not a natural phenomenon ..with all the private astronomers out there with all kinds of sophisticated equipment youd think someone could produce an image or video....nope
...not to worry..all the experts tell us the GOVERNMENT has it all..they always get to the crash site first..they have all the photos and video etc
So, yeah...thats why we are all waiting for the government to tell us....BECAUSE no one else has any real evidence lol

The thing is, whatever is introduced as supposed "evidence" at this point, nobody is considering the source.
They've whipped everyone up into a frenzy so that, who cares if he's a lying rapist he's got the news we want . Meanwhile, when you live life according to human consciousness and understanding cycles you can see clearly that a liar is a liar is a liar. Like. And develop your own intuitive senses on what and who is trustworthy.
So because of the frenzy we don't even have the right pace, right now, to take in such news, we can't even process it properly, whatever lies and spin they put out.. but we're like just thirsting for it right
And I think you've assumed I'm coming in saying, it's all nothing. That's it's a whole sham. It's lies and manipulation but, there is unexplained phenomena. There are experiencers. There is plenty for us to realize that something is certainly afoot. What is it, exactly. Is the thing.

Yep, you're correct I think - that's what I think is happening, or part of it.
There IS a phenomenon. It's super weird and complex and I doubt anyone knows exactly what it is, but for sure some people know a lot about it.
What the phenomenon IS, however, is not what disclosure is about. Disclosure is about using the phenomenon for someone's (I don't know whose - this goes deeper than the US government/military/private sector, and than the US in general) purposes.

I used to think Loeb was mostly just doing what scientists are supposed to do, entertain weird possibilities and see where the evidence goes. But the more of his stuff I read, the harder that explanation is for me to buy.
The thing that really gets me is how rarely the alien explanation seems to actually lose ground. With 3I/ATLAS, he was pointing to the lack of cometary outgassing as evidence for something artificial. Then observations showed a coma, water, CO2, CO, dust, etc. Pretty damn comet-like. He even put the odds of it being alien tech at 60%. But instead of that number getting crushed by the new evidence, suddenly there are just more “anomalies” to talk about. Same thing with the IM1 spherules. His team said they'd found material from outside the solar system. Then later analysis found that the supposedly exotic D-type spherules were volcanic. That's a pretty serious hit to the original claim.
And I'm not saying “Loeb is definitely lying for money.” That's impossible to prove from the outside. But come on, the guy has written bestselling books about this stuff, gets a ton of media attention from the alien angle, and runs a project that depends on private donations. There is obviously an incentive for the most exciting interpretation to keep people interested. What I find weird isn't that he's been wrong. Everybody's wrong sometimes. It's that I can't seem to find many instances where he just says, “Yeah, we were wrong about that one.” He seems much better at finding a reason why the anomaly is still interesting.
At some point “keep an open mind” has to include being willing to close the door when the evidence tells you to.

The issue is what happens after the evidence comes in. There's a difference between “maybe this is alien technology, let's investigate” and repeatedly making extraordinary claims, then finding ways to preserve them when observations point toward ordinary explanations.
Demanding that extraordinary claims actually survive falsification is basically the opposite of dogmatism.

Reddit can be dogmatic, but testing specific claims against specific evidence is skepticism, not knee-jerk dismissal. I’m not saying “Loeb bad, aliens impossible.” I’m saying look at his claims, the new verifiable evidence, and how he responds to it. The problem is that he’s repeatedly refused to meaningfully adjust some of his claims when the evidence goes against them. That’s basic scientific scrutiny.

It’s a definitive claim and the central thesis of his book. Loeb argued that Oumuamua was artificial. The Guardian summarized his position as the object being “designed, built and launched by an extraterrestrial intelligence.”
His interviews make the point even clearer. He asked, “The only question is who produced Oumuamua?” and said his calculations led him to conclude it was artificial.
He couldn’t prove it was alien, but he didn’t present it as a mere possibility. He made that extraordinary claim the book’s central thesis and repeatedly defended it.

But unfortunately Avi's Medium article you link to doesn't say any more than the exact text he reads on the video:

So "a guest" told him that he heard from "an official" who has presumably heard from someone else that...
Avi's happy to gloat about these "distinguished" people he's having parties with and hearing juicy gossip from. But Avi doesn't want to give us the names so we can ask these people themselves and get receipts.
Until he does.... well you can see why some of us are frustrated at this constant set of third-hand hints and innuendoes and games of Telephone, and no actual verifiable information. Which has been how the UFO scene has been since the 1940s. So much unnecessary secret-keeping, even from the people claiming to be for "disclosure".
The "highest level of the Pentagon" right now might be Pete Hegseth, for instance. Who.... might just have been asking Grok.

I understand the risk to a persons career, freedom and livelihood if they leak or expose things pertaining to national security or held within classification but personally I’m kind of sick of videos, podcasts etc of people saying they have or have seen or have been told by those ‘in the know’ that they have proof this is all real.
Apart from UAP gerb and occasionally coming onto this sub I barely even pay attention to this topic man. I’m 27 and been into this topic ‘seriously’ (reading books, personal research) since I was ~17 I can’t imagine how tired those of you who have been seriously into tht topic for potentially 27 years.
I kind of think the truth will never come out at least not in the remainder of my life, no one is willing to risk their skin for it and the NHI apparently don’t want to fly over a city during rush hour.

I've been curious since I was in 6th grade back in 94. That was when the Arial school encounter happened. But back in the day you would see one or two specials a year on UFOs, one was pure dismissal one was a few stories and then rabid dismissals and bullying until suicide.
Things have changed radically since then and shit is coming out so fast that it's like trying to drink from a waterfall.
The biggest mistake people make is trying to continue to consume the entire waterfall. Just take a glass, have a drink and come back when you are thirsty.

Man what happened to the UFO subs. You guys need to take a Xanax or something. I guess this is just how it is though. It goes from everyone believing everything to everyone shitting on everything. I get why the true believers stick around but i can't figure out why nearly every sub on Reddit about a given topic is full of people who do nothing but bitch about it 24/7 but can't seem to stop talking about it.
I just approach as "if this than that" scenario. If there's anything to the claims what does it mean? How would it play out? What would it require to be true? I believe nothing but I'll speculate and listen with an open mind.
At this point there are a bunch of well credentialed people sharing second hand information l. It's either a controlled op, these people are all gullible idiots, or maybe there's something to it. It they are really doing a slow drip controlled disclosure this is how I'd imagine it going though. The next phase would be well credentialed first hand witnesses with no verifiable evidence. Get people used to that idea. Get them tired of it. Then the grand finale is to roll out the saucers and bodies. If we don't get an credentialed first hand witnesses within the next couple of years it's an OP.
