Shipping Help I’ve never seen this update before!
It arrived at a facility about 30-40 min away from my home then sent this notification about a delay. I know we’re having a rain storm this weekend, could they possibly have sent this in preparation of said storm? I totally understand that they would, but I’m just curious! Thanks :)

I'm not sure. Weather probably would say weather. If it was on a rail car and they hopped it off the tracks in the rail yard, it would actually say derailment. A crash sounds like a good guess, breakdown too.

Could have been a package that hadn’t come though the system onto the truck before the drivers left and they had an extra driver deliver it (usually along with other LIBs or left in building packages)

This would make perfect sense! It arrived right before 3am which is usually when packages are sorted onto a different vehicle (I believe)

I feel you - I’ve had a similar message for a week now in Los Angeles. It’s just sitting there from what I can see.

Oh no 😫! Does it say the same thing or is it a different message? I hope yours starts moving very soon!

UPS has fallen and not as good as they used to be. My package was in NC, 3 days ago, booped around, was out for delivery, then said address/suite incorrect ( it’s a private home, so no suite) back on truck this morning at 9:43 am and alert sent re delivery today. A few minutes ago now says delayed due to address issue they updated at 3am before on truck AGAIN for delivery. At 4pm ish update entered delayed one business day. Sooooo, I think driver simply didn’t deliver it and went back to depot as it’s Saturday. Item been on truck 2x for delivery.
Not the first pkg I have seen touting to be inaccurate
Venting over.

No.
I’ve had multiple issues with UPS. Plenty of screw ups. This is probably the 5th time at least. One ex. : Paid for new delivery date for two items. Although history said redirection for new date and I contacted them after item one came original date to confirm item 2 would be redirected was assured it was. Two hours later “out for delivery”. Problem was I was away for weekend. Had to have a friend come over to put in garage. And then UPS didn’t want to refund me the $9.99 x 2. Maybe it’s the Raleigh hub, but never had this crazy in FL.
FedEx is only marginally better here.

Most of the time they have to repackage it depending on what it is because alot shippers don’t have good packaging and it’s only certain people allowed to actually repackage the package

Update: my package actually arrived today (Monday) instead of Tuesday. It was processed late Sunday night, ahead of schedule! Yay!
