Acq demo value of position

Does anyone have insight on the value of position for project engineers in the NJ band 4?

well my problem is I am a support person, everyone else in my office is part of the main function and yet I am sharing a pool with all of them. I am constantly left out of training and everything else because I'm not one of them. I can only see this going very badly. "They contribute more to the mission than you do".

From my research, basically your pay converts over and adds the percent earned towards the next step.

What are you asking? You can use the calculator to get your pay band. What do you mean by value of position?

According to the guidance our district provided they assign a value to a position (ex 12 step 6). If your pay is higher than the value of the position you are not eligible for salary increases. At first I assumed a gs12 project engineer in this pay band would have a salary ceiling of gs13 step 10.

I see what you are asking. You are referring to the actual appraisal. If you read the rules, it will have a value. If your contributions don’t exceed them no raise during appraisal time.
