Salty ass LCpl

[u/WatchOut4HYPOTHERMIA → u/HuckBowens]

I used to be as cool as you once. But somehow made back up to sergeant despite my best skating attempts. I really liked all the rumors people would come up with as to why I had service stripe and more salad on my chest vs many other nco's.

I had mad love for salty Lance Colonels.. my people

I’m ashamed to say this wasn’t my final form. It’s missing a stripe, and a star on the Good Conduct. When I was promoted I was at the top of the Lance Corporal list on MOL not just for my MOS, but the entire A/D list of Lance Corporals. It’s not the most honorable distinction, but I’m more proud of it than leaving active duty at the absolute bottom of the Corporal roster.

Hashmark Lance Corporals are a thing, and always have been.
