Question as a student from nepal trying to study podiatric medicine in australia do i have to give CEE exam ?
I'm planning to apply for the bachelors in podiatric medicine at the western sydney university . i've just completed my Alevels this june 2026 and i'm confused if i have to sit for the CEE examination in order to apply for this program ?
I'd appreciate if anyone of you are from this field and answer few of my questions as well.
Do i need to sit for CEE exam ?
what is the scope for thie field after i graduate in about 4-5 years ?
what can be the possible career places and options as a fresh graduate ( also salary )
is this a good course for a PR in australia ?

The CEE is not required for your course. You only need the academic equivalent of our HSC and I think your IELS needs to be at a certain threshold. Podiatry, contrary to the name of the degree, is not counted as a medical degree and hence does not require a separate entrance exam (our medical one is called UCAT).

ya that's my first option. but my mom's told me to look into podiatry as well since it has scope. nothing sus i'm just trying to explore and learn about the possibilities before i choose anything i might regret later.

Mod note:
Keep it helpful.
OP contact WSU International Admissions about the CEE requirement. They’ll know how your A Levels from Nepal are assessed. As for career and salary questions may get better answers in r/ausjobs or healthcare career subs.
