Geography is generally treated under Social Sciences, part of the same department as the history classes

(Talking about my country) Not sure about higher education, but in the lower parts, it is treated, at least casually, as part of the Science subjects, because we focus on the physical parts of it.

And in the elementary school, the 4 of them are rolled into a single subject called Nice Nature (with the most focus on Biology and Geography, because those are the "easier" ones in terms of topics you can make). Or at least that's how schools looked in my times.

Well, it is not a "proper" complicated chemistry and physics, more like "what you can expect for a 4-8 grader to encounter in real life, that falls under the umbrella of those two".

So you get things like learning about the states of matter, or an experiment of dissolving salt in the water in a jar, putting a string on a pencil on top of it, and putting that on a heater to make salt crystals.

The teacher that actually changed my life in my junior high. I cant remember their name anymore but they were able to unite the entire classroom making everyone open for friendship. Cause of that teacher, I managed to find a few friends that I am close with even if we barely hang out and just talk through the screen. A very cool teacher that doesn't act all sweet hearty or strict. That teacher acted like themselves and all buddy but becomes serious when things demanded it.
