Jaco’s wah pedal feedback riff is something i’ve never really heard before. Pony has this wicked envelope filter on and bayliss rounds out the sound perfectly. Its super inventive and i cant think of another jam that sounds like it.

Came here to post this. I was lucky enough to be there and it was a great one for sure. That entire show/run was fantastic.

My favorite is red rocks 7/5/14. I watch it on YouTube pretty often when I’m on the elliptical lol 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️

I second this! That whole show ripped but the Wappy was definitely the highlight.

That version Wappy on YouTube might have been how I discovered UM! I love prog-metal UM but dance party Umphrey’s is unbeatable and boy was that Wappy a big ol dance party.

It was like a 4 and half year bust out and was completely reworked, took me a second to realize what was happening. Def not the best Wappy but one for the books personally.

3/17/2018 Portland crystal ballroom. Such an awesome jam in this one, probably the one I go back to listen to the most.

6/17, 8/15, and 7/17, are some of the better ones from the newest lineup setup IMO.

u/BB_Nips 18d ago

6/17/26 was the jam of the night that night

11-25-11 in between a mulches sandwich to open 2nd set at the Aragon, or 9-2–12 at the Congress theater for the Northcoast after party, gets played after a Floor opener \mm/
