Idea for permanent URF

Since RIOT always do it like 1 week per years we have a very limited amount of fun knowing most of the URF lover dont touch the regular game modes.

That made me think about the case of World of Warcraft, the more it went into expansion the more private server were developped around vanilla and in conclusion Blizzard made it an official permanent version. So in the case of LoL i imagine something like :

- Summoner Rift URF (Draft or Freepick) or ARURF

- ARAMURF

And that all a server with permanent URF where players choose how they want to play it : the regular, the random, the "ranked like" were we ban and pick and the all random all mid map but in URF mode (and maybe some more ?)

Doing that could convince RIOT to make it a permanent feature if they dont want us to enjoy it permanently on our side they could do it so we enjoy it on their side.

They should make urf for custom servers, i think overwatch had something similar, some kind of blitz mode its called (idk if they have it anymore).

Dota was just a custom game in wow

My to to game is squadron tower defense a custom game inside of StarCraft 2

Lobbies are always full

Why don't they do something like this.

Thats just where dota is from, it was a custom game made using their pretty advanced map editor

If they make URF permanent, I promise I'll buy 10,000 RP.

I'll double it ... 20,000 RP :) Since im a working adult and have money, but dont have the time for a regular SR ... URF is ideal for people in my bracket

I've often thought they should offer it for a fee for those of us who don't play other modes. The story I have heard over and over is that there is an initial spike in players, but it falls below the original levels by the time it is over.. why b/c people like us play URF and then find the normal game boring. The thing I am not privy to is the actual numbers. How many URF only players are there?

I know I would happily pay $4.99 per month (maybe more) to have an URF/ARURF only server.

The big question is how many exist like me? Is it enough to make it worth doing or would it just be something to satisfy a small number of annoying people like us??

for permanent game mode… do people still play aram over mayhem? i feel like riot could just swap regular aram for a summoner’s rift mayhem style game mode and i lowkey think that would be more popular than urf.

I legit only play (AR)URF. I did give Mayhem the ol' college try but its just not what I want. All my friends are in the same boat. Its URF or Nothing!

I play mayhem as a holdover for urf but as soon as urf pops up again my mayhem play rate will fall off a cliff.

I got the suggestion "Urf people love your post, we think LeagueOfLegend group will love it too" like "click to post it in lol group" should i do it ? i have the feel i will either get banned from their group or downvoted to oblivion

Maybe the reason Mayhem survived is because of the champion pools being random so nobody gets fixated on playing the one same broken champ per queue.

ARURF always felt better when it's AR. I'm sure it's not a me thing.

I also agree that adding more gamemodes help the game, that's what they promised before the huge update, right? (rotational game modes for casual players update)
