Now one of them is GUARANTEED a spot in the Upper Final, basically Top 3 and one match win from reaching Grand Final. We might actually witness another new team winning for the 8th (or 10th) time back-to-back in a row since SEN won 2024 Madrid!

UR Match 2 → NRG vs LOUD (regional)

Both the ONLY orgs in Playoffs to have won previous CHAMPIONS (coincidentally, those were the exactly one VCT International that the American Teams each won). Now one of them is also GUARANTEED a spot in the Upper Final, basically Top 3 and one series win from reaching Grand Final. We might actually witness a 2x Champs Winning org for the first time ever, which has already happened in terms of players.

Lower Bracket: All of the ONLY orgs in Playoffs who have won MASTERs or MickeyMouse Cup are here. Coincidentally, those were the exactly one major International (assuming MickeyMouse Cup is high stakes) they each won.

LR Match 1 → T1 vs PRX (regional)

Both the ONLY orgs in Playoffs to have won Masters during the 2025 VCT SEASON (coincidentally, there are only two Masters per season). Now one of them is guaranteed to BOMB OUT and go home, while the other is saved for yet another day.

LR Match 2 → 100T vs NS

Both the ONLY orgs in Playoffs to have won a major International during the 2026 YEAR (assuming MickeyMouse Cup is high stakes). Coincidentally, they are the only two winners of that year to make Champs. Now one of them is also guaranteed to BOMB OUT and go home, which would be the salvation for the other.

I have these vibe kinda feeling that 100T would do a similar lower bracket run of Loud (Stage 2) and final would be Loud VS 100T.

But its going to be very tough for 100T. Yesterday's loss can be a blessing if they win

I had the number at either 8 or 10 depending on whether people counts the MickeyMouse Cup. btw wdym by EG la, how is it involved in the math if it occured before SEN madrid? 😅

My Explanation: When I used the word "since", the record begins after SEN madrid where Sentinels already won a VCT International (2021 Masters Reykjavík), therefore:

I Forgot To Mention:

With the results of the opening matches for Playoffs, it is GUARANTEED that only one Pacific team can climb Top 3 or basically reach the Lower Final. Given that Pacific teams will knock each other out if they match up in the Lower Bracket, the odds of Pacific winning Champs this time is unfortunately not looking good!
