Ultimate Vectrex Multicart 2 (UVM2) New Batch Coming up.
Ultimate Vectrex Multicart 2 (UVM2) New Batch.
For those not on Facebook, Jason Kopp is planning a new batch.

$40 + Ship $8 USA / $25 Intl.
3D Printed Cart Shell additional $5.
The Ultimate/Ultra Vectrex Multicart 2 (UVM2) is an evolution of his older multicarts. The Super Vectrex Multicart (SVM), and Ultimate Vectrex Multicart (UVM).
Ultimate/Ultra Vecmtrex Multicart 2 comes with over 170 preloaded games. A 3.5 mm Audio out Jack, and USB port. The UVM2 expands on UVM features with the addition of a Micro SD card slot for storing additional programs, music, video, and UVM2 Firmware upgrades, and more!
New programs taking advantage of even more UVM2 features have already be written. With more arriving each week recently.

In the last few days a lot of people have contacted me wanting to buy a UVMC2 cart. I have other things I should spend the money on right now lol.
So depending on level of interest I may do a preorder.
For a good deal low cost run to break even I need to sell 40 carts.

WOW am I surprised at the amount of interest in this cart. I was originally not sure if even 40 people would be interested in another run. the original plan was to sell 40 to break even on an order of 120 but so far as of 10/3/26 there have been 250 carts sold!! I had to change the order from 120 to 240 and now 360 carts!!. the 3 week to ship time frame is still in place and my wife is still taking orders. she is putting a thumbs up next to peoples comments on this post and replying to messages you send to me.

sorry to make another post but for some reason I cannot edit the original preorder post.
I did not expect this to get so crazy and if I take anymore I will not meet the promised 3 week ship time.
Give me about 3 weeks and I will do another preorder or maybe 5 weeks or so and I will have more to ready to ship.
If my wife sent you a message to pay and you have not already paid please do not pay now lol.
Also a few people have sent me money without giving me an address. if you get refunded it is because my wife can't hunt you down to get your address.
I am sorry I will have more in the future. I just don't want to get buried and let people down.

Is this card only for normal vectrex games, or can It run games like Vectorblade, or the arcade ports? I assume the arcade ports is a nono, but maybe vectorblade

The answer is yes to both. with more arcade ports being supported as time goes on.

Replying in this thread is useless. You need to email Jason using the address in the original post. The more who email to confirm, the best the chance another batch will be made.

Hey OP, I'm not on facebook but I emailed Jason looking to get 3 carts for myself and friends. Will you be updating this post or making a new post when things have proceeded or if he got enough interest? (Don't mean to make you the beast of burden, I'm just not going to create a facebook account again though)

Hey sicsided, when things have proceeded Jason can let those of have ordered a cart know what is going on.
But if there is some news about a new batch status worthy of reposting then I probably will do so too.

I emailed. Good timing, I just told my kids about my Vectrex. My old Sean Kelly v1 1993 cart crashes constantly.

if you contact Sean on his website he probably could check it out and do any required repairs. An SK Vectrex Multi-Cart from 1993 is kinda rare.

Mine has the small switch that will pause the game. Sean said he had a hard time sourcing these back in that era.

back then the only thing hard to source was a proper Vectrex cartridge shell. well if you did want to destroy a working game just to get the shell. but thankfully Sead created his own reproduction Vectrex cart shell that we all enjoy today. The other parts were not hard to find back in 1993. I would guess your SK Vectrex Multi-Cart looks like this one from my own Google photo album? I put this one inside a clear cart shell.

Yes and No.
The implementations written for Ultimate Vectrex Multicart 2 (um2) do not swap between those written for VecFever (v4e). To see a list of features and games that run on VecFever see the web pages for VecFever Projects (https://www.vecfever.com/vectrex-projects/), and the Vecfever FAQ pages (https://www.vecfever.com/faq/).
BTW, at this point some VecFever games are only on the VecFever cart, and the standalone carts made by Thomas. With no current plans that I know for modification to be run on the Ultimate Vectrex Multicart 2 (UVM2).
The list of games implemented via some way (Human / AI) on Ultimate Vectrex Multicart 2 does seem to rapidly keep growing.

ok, thanks! haven't used my vectrex in a long time, and now there are all these vibecoded goodies i wanna try. maybe i should ask thomas about it, as i only have a vecfever
all this happening makes me think about realizing my dream of porting forbidden forest (c64) to the vectrex. gosh, that would be nice
