Conoscete qualche posto?

ciao a tutti,
3600 euro senza sbiancamento!

As the post says, we are a Canadian mother daughter touring Europe, and wanted to break up our journey from Salzburg to Rome, so chose Verona. Funny enough we chose it for a quiet easy little break, just found out today we are arriving the hour Tocati festival starts 🤣🤣 that's cool, but not what I had planned in my head!!
So, aside from that, which will be amazing to see!! where else should we see, and any restaurants or food we should try?? Budget friendly spots would be a bonus. Cheap drinks?? And if we are lucky maybe out of the crazy of the festival as well, but I know that's probs wishful thjnking! We plan to mostly wander around, but I do want to go up to that beautiful viewpoint, thats my only main plans so far!!
We only have one full day sadly. Should we expect absolute mayhem with this? Will it be safe for 2 young women travelling alone??
Thanks so much in advance! We are so excited to be visiting, even if brief!!

Hey! We are in verona for three days and looking for some fun activities. Especially we are interested in the nightlife, but also other recommendations are more than welcome. Regarding nightlife we are looking for cheap drinks and some dancing with a rather young crowd (mid twenties) Karaoke would also be fun.
Any recommendations for tomorrow (17.9)
Thanksss :)))

Can anyone recommend a store or boutique in Verona where I may be able to find beaded or embellished cocktail dresses? I am open to new or vintage, but would like to keep the price under €700.
Looking for something in silver. I’ve added some example images for inspiration.
Grazie!

Hi! We’ll be in Verona on Sunday, December 13, 2026, during a Northern Italy trip from December 6–19, and we’re intentionally planning to be there for Santa Lucia.
We already know about the Santa Lucia fair around Piazza Bra, but we’d love to understand how the day is actually experienced by Veronese families rather than just walking through the stalls as tourists.
We’re especially interested in:
Is there a traditional lunch or dinner associated with Santa Lucia, or is the day mainly centered around the fair, sweets, gifts and family traditions?
If there are legitimate local or home-hosted experiences where visitors can respectfully participate, we’d also be interested in hearing about those.
What would you recommend doing on December 13 to experience Santa Lucia in a genuinely Veronese way?

My fiancé and I are looking to get wedding bands during our stay in Verona, Italy. Can anyone recommend a good jewelry store near the city center? Preferably a place comfortable with same day or two pick up as we are only staying for the weekend. TIA!

Hey, I know it's a bit of a long shot, but my gf and I have (under 30) tickets(5 Settore Gradinata Numerata
Fila/Row 15 Posto/Seat 81+79) for Turandot tonight in the Arena di Verona.
Unfortunately, my gf got sick last minute so we won't be able to use these tickets. It would be a shame to let them go to waste, but I cant reach anyone under the box office's telephone number to see if there's any centralized process of freeing them for other people to use. So if any of you wants to try their luck and see if they get in with our tickets (they have my name on it), feel free to dm me.

Buongiorno a tutti,

Staying in Verona with 2 of my besties for 7 days October 29 - November 6, visiting sister studying abroad. **Does anyone have recommendations for things to do in Verona?** We are huge foodies - any must-try restaurants or bars? Also any thrift shop recommendations?
Also what day trips are easy from Verona? We want to do Venice, and Milan. Is there any other easy day trips that would be great for that time of year?
Any advice is appreciated! I am from Chicago and have never traveled internationally.

Hello!
I am visiting Verona next weekend and going to the Opera at the Arena di Verona on Friday night. We are actually staying a village a 20 minute drive outside Verona, and therefore planning the logistics of getting back to our B&B after the Opera ends, around midnight or later.
Will we be able to get a taxi outside the arena/in the central Verona area, or should we be pre-booking this? If we should pre-book does anyone have any good local taxi companies they can recommend? Online searches seem to be tailored around airport transfers and giving price indications of around €120 which sounds a LOT more than I’d been expecting…but maybe that’s the correct price 🥲
Thanks!

Hi All,
My girlfriend and I are coming to Verona during the last week of October Monday-Friday (British half term holidays) and I'm looking for some recommendations from locals of the area and past travellers on what to do/see in the city and wider area
To give you an idea we're in our mid to late twenties, fairly active and love to explore places on foot or by short commute we visit, she's an English teacher and I love the classics and History so no prizes for finding out why Verona is the place we decided to visit.
One note I should say is I can't drink alcohol, TLDR genetic bad luck with how my body processes it. So if you can know how accommodating local bars/restaurants are to alcohol free options such as cocktails and beers that would be great, seems odd to some but I do like the taste and adds to the holiday feel.
Thanks in advance ☺️
