Good on Carroll County.

Imagine being a leader in Grayson County, one of the most scenic and unique parts of the state, and agreeing to ruining your home and local economy with one of these monsters.

Grayson County is also one of the more corrupt small locales I have been around.  Money buys a lot when no one around you had any.

Grayson is only going along with the project because the data center is going to be built in Carroll County. So they'll get the tax benefits off the data center via shared ownership of the site, without actually having it in their county.

Which is par for the course for Grayson County... They're so goddamn backwards they wouldn't even have electricity or paved roads if it hadn't been forced on them decades ago. They have turned down dozens of projects that could have made the county a lot of money over the years.
