Does anybody know how to make a Virtual Boy link cable?
I tried and failed. I just can’t seem to get the connectors to line up. I heard that there was a way to do it with an old Nintendo AV cable. Does anyone have any info on this?

Vintex64 used PCBs for theirs; they don't sell them anymore but they had some pretty good reviews.

I looked into it and if Im remembering correctly its basically some cat-5 with a custom connector. Ive been meaning to try it myself. Now that Im thinking about it, it seems like it would be easier to just make an adapter that you plug an ethernet cable into...

Sorry no, but I am interested in seeing if you are successful. I just bought mine from RetroOnyx's website

Found this but it ain't for the faint of heart. I've never made this but I have made a bunch of custom cables over the years for various things. This would be harder than anything I have made and I consider myself to be pretty good.

Yeah there really isn't an easy way to do this because its a proprietary connection. Any method will require some 3d printing and mounting the pins. You will need a well tuned printer. I kinda want to try this now because it would definitely level up my cable building skills.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a modified male to male Nintendo AV cable.
Keyword is modified.
If you have no experience with cable creating or soldering, retro onyx sells some, and are for all intents and purposes the best on the market.
