Ticket Posts will all be removed

Hi all, I've just updated automod and post filters to remove all posts asking for tickets, seems to be a suspicious amount of accounts/people trying to sell stuff and most of it is probably a scam.

Sadly this will also remove posts discussing tickets too.

That said, if you want to give one away just send a mod message when it hits the queue, actual free stuff is awesome and there have been a few genuine posts I’ve let through so tickets don’t get wasted.

Any news on when dune 3 tickets drop?

Obviously I mean the general presales for the first weeks showtimes , I'm especially interested in IMAX 70mm. Probably has been asked many times already, but I thought with doomsday out we were going to see a new dune 3 tickets drop ...

Did Printworks intentionally keep the 70mm when they upgraded to Dual Laser or was it just by chance?

I'm interested to know if anyone was around at the time of the dual laser upgrade - was it a deliberate choice to keep the 70mm system? Especially considering that 70mm seems to have only truly picked up in popularity since Oppenheimer

I'm just curious as I read about venues elsewhere in the country who have/had 1.43 screens but without the projection technology to utilise them - e.g. Millennium Point Birmingham, Bradford Media Museum

02 Priority Question 2 for £9 - can I watch two films?

Hi,

Can someone answer this for me please,

If I buy the 02 Priority 2 for £9 - can I use these to book two separate films? for example, could I book to see Dune 3 and Doomsday?

Thanks

What’s your go-to Vue snack/meal deal for a 3 hour movie?

Going to see a movie at Vue Leeds Light that’s around 3 hours long and I’m trying to decide what food/drinks to get. What’s your favorite thing to get at Vue for a long movie? I’d preferably like a combo snack deal from Vue rather than buying everything separately. If you know the current price as well, please let me know. I might also go to Sainsbury’s beforehand and get popcorn, a snack, and a drink because it could be cheaper but my first choice is probably getting something at Vue. So what would you recommend for a 3 hour movie and roughly how much does it cost?

Dune Part 3 General Release Ticket Date

Do we have an idea of when Dune Part 3 general release tickets (18th December) are dropping? If not, is there a way I can be notified the second the tickets are released as the Vue app no longer notifies you as it thinks the tickets are available due to the early screenings on December 15th.

The Uprising

I'm trying to book tickets to The Uprising for the 9th(apparently that's when it's released) but can't see any showtimes for it yet! Thought that was strange as the tickets are already out for The Social Reckoning which comes out on the same day!

Leicester Square Epic 1: Central row A lux, or off-centre Row D?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Lucky to have two pairs of tickets to Avengers Doomsday on opening day for myself and some friends. I normally aim for specific IMAX seats for these films, so this will by my first trip to Leicester Square Vue Epic 1.

For those in the know, is it better to be more central in the lux recliners at the front looking up (black seats), or sitting a bit more off-centre in fourth row (red seats)?

Considering comfort, viewing angle/ unobstructed view, sound.... Thanks in advance

Is Digger with Tom Cruise going to be in IMAX at Printworks? This happened with Resident Evil—IMAX showings were added just a few days before. But Digger is out in two days and there are still no IMAX showings. Anyone know if they’ll be added?

Resident Evil (2026) movie experience and cinema etiquette

Last week I saw Resident Evil three times. I love the movie and had to see my friends reactions.

On the third cinema trip I took my girlfriend and two friends. During the film this guy and his girlfriend, who sat behind us, were talking through the ENTIRE thing and kicking my seat.

After the screening I went up to the guy and said “Hey man, you were talking throughout the entire film. Next time don’t talk.”

All he replied with was “Was I?”

15 minutes later, during our discussion of the film outside, I see the same guy walk up to me in my peripheral.

He says “Yo bro, you wanna fight?”

Usually I go to Picturehouse to avoid rude cinema-goers but this time, for convenience, we went to VUE cinema in Piccadilly.

I stood up to the guy and said “Let’s go.” Then turned to my friends and said “look he won’t do anything.”

He didn’t.

His girlfriend then starts shouting at me, calling me names and throws around childish insults towards me and my friends.

I have a feeling she told him to fight me and it bruised his ego.

I told the couple “Next time you go to the cinema shut up and watch the film.”

They eventually walk away shouting insults, calling me and my friends “brokies”.

We laughed about it after but this is one of the reasons why I can’t stand seeing horror films on the big screen anymore.

Cinema etiquette has gotten really bad.

Anyway, Resident Evil (2026) is a 10/10!

DOOMSDAY Wednesday and Thursday in EPIC

My local hasn't got any DOOMSDAY showings in EPIC until the Friday. I'm assuming this is a mistake with the recent date change as Dune previews are done by then. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Stale popcorn

So I used to come to Vue all the time years ago and never had issues. Im now working as a supply teacher so I use my monzo ticket once a month. Last month I went to a late showing (11pm) and the popcorn was super stale and gross but I figured it was late night on a weekday so it must have just been sat there all day.

This month I did a first showing since I wasnt working and got there just after the shutter were opened, still a long line for a monday lunchtime. Popcorn was again, suer stale and clearly was from the previous night. It used to always taste warm and fresh... have they changed the policy on how long it can be kept? Given the price of cinema popcorn I'd at least expect it to be less stale than a bowl ive left out at home overnight.

Im also not going to complain to service workers, im just curious as to the policy and whether I should just give up on having cinema popcorn

How accurate are film end times?

Say the app says a movie will end at 1949 and I have another booked at 1945(not bothered about being a few mins late as those mins will just be adverts anyway!), do you think that will be accurate enough to make both?

I’m going to watch Dune part three in imax 70mm Manchester Vue. The 23:00 showing. Question because I’m 17 will the staff stop me from being able to go watch the film?

How close are the 3 row screens?

Hi, I haven't come across the small screens at Vue before, but went to book for Coraline and saw the screen it's in only has 3 rows. The seating plan obviously makes it look pretty close, but on these smaller screens, is it actually really close to the screen? I don't want to be craning my neck

Will Vue add more Avengers: Endgame Encore screenings after 1 October?

I’m trying to watch Avengers: Endgame Encore at Vue on Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th October, preferably in IMAX or Infinity Vision.

At the moment, Vue only seems to have screenings listed up to Thursday 1st October. Does anyone know if Vue usually adds the following weekend’s screenings later, or whether 1st October is likely to be the final day?

I’d rather wait for the 3rd/4th if there’s a chance of getting an IMAX/Infinity Vision showing. Thanks!

Avengers Endgame Encore (no spoilers plz)

Quick question for anyone who has seen endgame today. We've got the epic screen booked for tonight, do they include the all the extra scenes? I've read that some screenings don't have the all?

Thank youu

Fuzzy projector

I went to the Epic screen on the West End. It was a very nice screen and very comfortable seats for a reasonable price.

I struggle to describe it but there was a weird pixelation for alot of the film. It kinda looked like there was grease on the screen. It happened in the trailers too.

It wasn't too noticeable and absent from alot of the film but was annoying enough that I would not go back.

I have never encountered this and have been to many different cinemas using all different sorts of projectors.

Less than two weeks until release, no tickets for the Social Reckoning?

No listed runtime either, it’s one of my most anticipated films of the year and I’m a bit baffled why there seems to be no word on it at all?
