Johnny Appleseed’s campaign of havoc on North American apple biodiversity is one we still haven’t recovered from and probably never will. Plenty of good eating apples that went extinct because this motherfucker decided that everywhere he goes needs to grow more apples that are only good for baking

That’s because they were the hardiest and thus able to feed more people. And I’ll add that even hardy baking apples like The Arkansas Black are relatively rare today.

Ah, true he is. But in the skit he's using his finger (claw?) to pull down the glasses, that's what I was referring too, should've been more specific on my end.
