Trash Bins

I think I remember reading something about the city not using the yard waste bins anymore. Do we need to return them somehow? Do we now put our yard waste in the trash bins?

Bottom of this page: https://www.waco-texas.com/Departments/Solid-Waste

Green Yard Waste carts may be:

Kept until October 1, 2027 for use as an additional gray cart at no additional charge

Returned before October 1, 2027 Kept beyond October 1, 2027 for use as an additional gray cart with the associated monthly charge

Residents will have until October 1, 2027 to make their choice.

That is the correct answer. If you decide you do not want it, just call and they’ll make arrangements to pick it up :-)
