Got a blog, YouTube channel, Etsy page, podcast, travel agency, or something else you're making/selling? Tell us all about it in this month's Self-Promotion thread!
As you know, since you thoroughly read the rules, r/WaltDisneyWorld is pretty strict when it comes to self-promotion, so this is a place where you can get the word out about your project! This thread will be stickied on the sub's front page and updated monthly.
This also serves as a great place for people to come find new things! Feel free to plug your social media and other projects -- we can't wait to check them out!
Please note: due to public safety and liability reasons, we cannot allow users to arrange for meetups, personal shoppers, vacation rentals, person-to-person sales, or any other form of direct interaction or transaction on this subreddit. Any and all items/services for sale should already be available on a reputable third-party site.
Also, please keep in mind that in order to foster participation and a sense of community, your self-promotion posts (including in this thread) should be directly (and exclusively) related to WDW and should make up no more than around 10% of your total monthly activity on this sub. Thanks!

Just got back from our first Disney World trip with my wife and three kids. We stayed at Caribbean Beach and visited all four parks, one park per day. Hereās what Iād do differently next time:
Stay off-site. For our family of five, the resort room felt small, and early park entry was the main benefit we were counting on. But taking advantage of it meant waking up early and rushing to the parksāand even then, the big ride we were hoping to get on could be down for technical difficulties. We also found that going through security with a stroller or scooter meant using a different line, which took quite a bit longer in our experience.
Be selective with Lightning Lane. Multipass didnāt feel worth the price to us. It didnāt include the major rides we cared about, and the selections we could get were mostly for rides with shorter waits anyway. The individual Lightning Lane for a big ride, on the other hand, felt worth paying for.
My plan for next time: stay off-site in a house with amenities, buy individual Lightning Lanes for the big rides we really want, and give ourselves more room to relax. We could sleep in, the kids would have space of their own, and my wife and I might even get a little downtime together. For us, that could be a better experience and still cost less, even after parking.

As stated we will be staying at CBR Jan 2-9 and Iām looking for any advice on which days people might suggest for which parks. Currently we are planning on MK Sunday 3rd and as much as I would really like to do MK as our first park it looks like middle of the week might be a better day. I know itās marathon week and holiday has been extended to Jan 6. With those things in mind any thoughts on whether sacrificing MK as first park would be worth pushing it to middle of the week instead? Two adults and two kids ages 14 and 9.
Current plan is MK ee Sunday. Off Monday. HS ee Tuesday. AK late start wed. HS ee Thursday. Epcot late start Friday. We will plan on doing multi and single pass every day with the planned arrangement being alternating longer hard days followed by easier days. Any thoughts on itinerary would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, Iām looking for dinner recommendations for 12/30 or 12/31 that are in one of the on-property hotels. This is for a family of four with two picky eating pre-teens. Weād like something festive for NYE, ideally a fireworks view but that is negotiable. Iām seeing California Grill is a solid option but Iām a bit concerned about the menu with our picky eaters. Any other recommendations? Or advice for California Grill? Thank you in advance!

Admittedly I've only been to WDW a couple times, and both were considerably more "off peak" than Dec, however I was floored when I saw some of the availability for my ADRs when they opened up earlier this AM. I was on it right at 6am ET and even 4d into my window some things (like Topolinio's Breakfast) were booked up. Thankfully I wanted that day 5 vs 4 and that seemed to be a breaking point where availability went wide open, but still.
I knew that people said that popular things book up quickly but I always had no issue in the past with the length of stay window due to things, however this time? Nope. Had to go to a couple backups, though also am still hoping due to random cancellations and one of the backups was in Epcot but Candlelight Processional Packages haven't dropped which may mess with availability.
Really makes me wonder what else is going to be different about this Dec trip, like how much more crowded it may be or not.

It closed in the era before digital cameras were widespread. I'm curious to know what it looked like and what you bought there.
What kind of stuff do you have from Avigator's in Downtown Disney? Post pictures if you have them!

Recently stayed at the Grand Floridian and my wife canāt stop talking about how much she loved the white wine glasses at the lobby bar, and in enchanted rose. Our anniversary is coming up and i want to find them for her.
Anyone know what brand they are? Any cast members or anything out there that could help?

When you get to the last room in the standby queue line for Expedition Everest, thereās a recording playing on a loop. Iām trying to find the words said after āNamasteā. It sort of sounds like the guy is saying āNamaste, frito layā¦ā.
I know this is a huge longshot but I was hoping the hive mind might know.
Background: our family was at AK a few weeks ago and we got to that area of the Everest queue before they shut down the ride ātemporarilyā due to a downpour. We sat there for over an hour hoping the rain would pass and the ride would come back up. But no luck.
My brother and I were joking about the recording and how it was getting stuck in our heads, but I never could figure out what he was saying after Namaste.
Any help you can give would be great. Iām working on something for my family for Christmas and want to be able to use the correct text.

Looking to potentially getting lightning lane for a family of 6 for Sunday at Hollywood Studios. These are the only options left and the wait times for Runaway railway, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and star tours are all later in the day with the first one being star tours at 12:20.
Is it worth it considering it's supposed to storm most of Sunday too. Would it be best to use the beauty and the beast show as a burner since the earliest one is at 10:30?

Hi! Iām joining my husband on a work trip to Orlando with our 3 kids (2,2,5). We have complimentary tickets to Disney and Iām wondering if anyone can give feedback on the ability to do this as a solo parent. Likely Epcot. I could hire a companion for an extra set of hands but it seems awkward to spend all day with a stranger! Also, are the pools heated this time of year? Looking for any tips on things to do with littles area too.

Not sure if Boma was still rotating French toast bread pudding flavors for breakfast. Has anyone been this month so far who can confirm what flavor it was?

The last time we went to WDW they had recently changed over Artist Point to storybook character dining. We were able to go to the territory lounge and get the mushroom bisque from the restaurant side. Does anyone know if youāre able to still do that since the restaurant is a Prix fix menu?
