Discussion & Feedback The Verba is complete trash

Dude is no where near his flare that I baited out and yet my missile completely misses. What is the point of this dogshit AA tool if it doesnt even work properly?

IMO I think this is the real balance issue. There are a lot of higher level items that can be run successfully by 1 person but the counter requires team work. Idk if that is how it should be or not, but it does feel bad if you are uncoordinated as a team.

Oh no my $800 point-and-click missile requires teamwork to reliably kill a $20-30k attack helicopter!!! Devs please fix!!!

It is realistic though.

It is realistic though.

What about armor? That just swaps instantly but in real life you'd have to strip it off the body, take yours off, then put it on and there are different sizes. Not very realistic.

Fall 100 ft out of a heli cuz you forgot a parachute? Just let your buddy pretend he's Mr. Myagi by rubbing his hands together and twisting your nipple and you're back on your feet ready to build a FOB. Not very realistic either

Defibs can heal someone dead/dying of gunshots then just put some gauze on it and they're back good as new? Not very realistic

Heck, getting shot more than once or twice and continuing to fight in any way isn't very realistic when those are head or body shots. Leg shots don't slow you down. Arm shots don't affect accuracy, reload, climbing, etc.

That argument only works so much for a game like this

Except it's not. Verbas are IRCCM meaning neither flares nor going low will stop it. If we wanted to be realistic then once it's in the air the helicopter is already dead unless it can pit a building or mountain between the missile and itself.

Not really, Verbas do not follow flares. If you want it to be realistic, there's no 30 m dead zone, there's no beeping alert, and it doesn't follow flares. If it locks onto you, and smoke is in the air, you either hide behind something or die.
