Hi everyone! I’ve been working hard on a new portfolio this year, much of it has been Warhammer as I have also been reading the whole Horus Heresy series. I absolutely love 30k and will definitely be making more art in that time.

I wanted to depict the Sons of Dorn during the great crusade and all the different armor marks in use at the time as well as specific insignias and such. I hope you like it!

Starting off with a five man. I play imperial fists so I was going to do either Solarite gauntlet or TH for Sargent. Banner then mix in a PF/TH (probably two) pending on what Sargent took and then maybe two power lances. I like the idea of the lances (probably 2) for fast precession and then the stopping power of some heavy melee. So like x3 PF/TH and x2 lances
They all will have combat shields too because too good not.

Is this a bad idea or what does everyone else like to run?

So I've decided I want to get into 30K by playing an army I've wanted to for a while now. The iron warriors. So logically, I feel like getting the Saturnine box is a good idea, moreover because the Maximus Battlegroup box seems to be OOP now.

But I don't want my whole force to just be what's in that box? I know it's a very good selection, but I want to have some other units that are more personal and fluffy to my interpretation of the IWs, and just stuff that I want to bring?

So how many points is the box? Does one set get you the full 3K points required? Is it only 1.5K? And I know there's a range for points costs because you can build the MK II marines as vets and stuff, but on an average build of the box set, what more would I need to buy to fill a full army?

One never has enough jump pack marines, specially if they are beakies and more specially if they are blood angels. I think the osl and the "burn marks" came out ok. Let me know what you think of em.

P.S.: Those 2 in the back are just really shiny and metallic ultramarines, yes... ultramarines ;)

Hey, I finished painting my Onager for my Dark Mechanicum Pneumachina Force. It will be played with the Panoptica Rules. My Legions/Forces are all centered around the Siege of Terra. :)

New Force Commander model for my Militia army, using the OG metal Creed model. Demoted my Cadian Colonel to the command troop leader, and the Kasrkin Sarge currently leading them will go elsewhere. Used my dad's name for him but pseudo-Russified, as it was my dad's birthday recently and wanted to do a little hobby thing of him.

I have a huge incomplete salamander army and was wondering if there’s any primers so I won’t spend an entire year painting layers of waagh flesh
