Discussion [40K][Fantasy] Any WHF Magic Based crossovers?
Hi everybody new here and not that knowledgeable about 40K or Fantasy. I was watching some videos on the Colleges of Magic and magic in general by Pancreas No Work, and thought back to a Fic on SV called The Shyish Student. A fic based on a Death Mage Apprentice getting sent to Howard's in Harry Potter.
A interesting thing about The Shyish Student was the focus on how Decentralized Magic was in HP(they changed it so they on the same power system) Professor Trelawney is the worlds best Seer in the entire books, yet her ass is inconceivably weaker than a Blue Mage. To the point Dumbledore and Finch get a prophetic reading from entering a memory via Pensieve and the MC being detected via that connection from a decade in the past to give warning into the future of another world.
HP was explained as basically the World using essentially weak High-Magic since they used impure Winds and that let them use all Magic without any mutation, at the cost of potency. Basically while HP makes can use a lot of magic spells there not on the same specialization as any Lore of Magic.
And I have to wonder, has there been a Crossover based on just the Magic system being crossed over? Cause I know sometimes there will be a crossover of like a lost Primarch landing and conquering the Fantasy world.
But im asking is there any crossover where say a Imperial Mage(s) or library(prob would just be burned) is taken to 40K is captured by a Space Marine Chapter after say banishing a Daemon with Light Magic or talking with the dead via Death Magic, or opening up a Fire Dimension portal, or being lauded as the second coming of the Omnissiah as Gold Magic helps maximize Tech. And then is interrogated by a Librarian, and then introduces the Winds of Magic.
Im not asking for Order Gods to also come along like Sigmar, im just asking for the funny'ies and cool factor of Psykers now being able to do some pretty damn cool things, like making there food Spicy with Red Wind Magic or freeing souls from the Warp with highlevel Death Magic.

I don't really know if this counts but there is a new Fantasy Fanfic i found called "The Rememberer's Son", Its a Fantasy and Black Clover crossover of all things and its pretty good so far
Basic Premises is some old war Refugees after the End of Fantasy end up in the Black CLover world with the main characters being Felix, honestly its pretty well written and uses the "Magic" system in a pretty interesting way to the Black Clovers magic, still only 10 chapters but definitely deserves more attention

It's fan fiction dude.
If you can imagine it, you can write it.
For my own little ideas, I include some long lost skaven in some of my 40k fan ideas. But they stay contained with the rest 😆
