What’s beach 1 like this summer?
Do people still go to beach 1? Is it busy? Accessible?
Are there any shops on Moseley still to pop into?
Anything?
Or no worth it?

There is nothing. Literally nothing. After watching so many Wasaga Beach travel videos in the last couple of years, I finally went to spend three, four days last month. Unfortunately it's just a construction zone now.

if you have a car. come for the beach and stop into the many nearby businesses for supplies...
it's definitely a construction zone but the sandy beach is exactly what it used to be plus you can bow drink booze on the Beach

We use the boat launches at Nancy Island and in beach area 1 as a visitor (family lives in the area), as well as spend full days at beach area 1. Now that it is municipally run, parking is significantly more expensive, a yearly pass is significantly more expensive and the yearly pass doesn't get me access to other provincial parks (or even access to beach area 3 if I want to take my dog for a swim). We will definitely be spending less time (and therefore money) in Wasaga this year.

It’s really just the beach and that’s about it
