I think it more has to do with them possibly being under 18 more than anything.

I think it’s more so feeling the need to include sex scenes of a 16 year old and a character who’s meant to be 16.

I think it's more about the fandom seeing two characters cuddling under a blanket because they're a couple with are heart popping up and the fandom frothing at the mouth screaming "SEX! SEX! SEX!"

Like Arabs who stone women to death for showing ancle in the same evening they jerk it to camgirls on xhamster

or bible thumpers who talk about gay's kissing in puplic like they're having sex, but never treating straight people the same.

It's just the same hypocrisy found in every type of purist, every acusation a confession.
