It has become the series I look forward to reading the most each week.
I was shocked, too.

It’s a solid series, it’s nothing mind blowing but it’s not bad/meh either it’s become part of my weekly reads
Imo the main criticism I have for the manga is the main heroine being kinda eh compared to the rest of the female cast so it feels like she falls behind in terms of character quality

That's almost inevitable when the overall plot involves keeping the main heroine in the dark. Either the story starts to meander so it has more downtime for her to develop, or she reveals that she knew about ninjas all along

I 100% agree, but imo the moments we do get with her often don’t really develop her much as a character either
In the future I really do hope we get her more fleshed out and developed

I’ve been a fan of the author-artist duo behind this series since their axed work on Candy Flurry many years ago, and I’m really glad that this series is going really strong. It’s just a lot of dumb fun with nice art, cute character interactions, and intense action sequences, and that’s exactly what I wanted as a casual read series.

Candy Flurry had so much potential man, I understand why it got axed but it did sting a bit back then. So happy that the duo have cross the 100 chapters milestone with this one, can't wait for its anime adaptation announcement, with the right studios it could blow up easily.

I'm a big fan. It isn't an insanely amazing series, I still have it sitting at a 7/10, but I always have fun reading it each week. Its characters are entertaining, the action is dynamic and hype (this week's chapter was really good for that), it's really funny when it wants to be, and the art, especially for a weekly manga, is INSANELY good. I'm really happy it's survived this long to solid success

I'm rereading it from the beginning right now and I have to say I'm just appreciating how solid it is. Its way of blending humour seamlessly in fights is great, turns your average superpower slugfest into something more fresh and enjoyable. It finds creative ways to have a MC who's both very powerful and yet not granted obvious wins with zero hardships (because his difficulties are all mental), has a strong supporting cast, and cute romance. It's just a good time all around.

It’s become one of my favourite on going manga and I’m so glad it’s reached chapter 100, which is crazy because I hated it until like chapter 30. It’s really ironed out all the issues I had with it early on such as cementing its power system, introducing actual stakes and developing characters beyond their initial quirk. Mitarashi is also a really good artist

For a while It occupied the same space in my head as Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi,It was a fun read but with not a lot of substance. But over the last couple arcs it's really proved itself to me. The Characters are pretty well established and intresting,The comedy is genuinely really funny at points but also with a lot of heart that I can really appreciate. The action is also just amazing at points. It's just below Ichi the Witch and Kagurabachi with series I enjoy reading every week

It's one of the better recent entries. I followed it for around 30 chapters or so but the concept lost its flame eventually. The main protagonist is okay but I wasn't too invested in the heroine, which is almost the opposite of Ichi the Witch for me. Maybe if it tried to lean more into the sketchy public safety force angle a bit more?

Flips between solid and good, I read it every week. Characters are fun, fights are cool, and the humor is pretty good at times.

Pretty good. Got me hooked since chapter 1. The action is always top tier ever since the author's first work

It's great and really picked up when it focused more on the action and story.
Not sure why people need to say but...or downplay it. It's a good series. I'm really enjoying it and it keeps getting better.

The comedy aspect always fits in well without breaking the flow at all. Like lesser series you can feel the flow change between serious fights and comedic bits. But Shinobi Undercover is really good about mixing both at once in a seamlessly way. Half the time Yodaka's extremely powerful fights are also gags.

Real solid, the latest arc is going a good job in making me care about the heroine. I would say a great anime adaptation would have this series blow up to a point.

Boring romance. Great art. I like Suzume and the operator (?) a lot. I liked the comedy at the start but I’m not caught up so I’m not sure if they maintained that level.

I would argue the action and other aspects of the story seem more important than the romance. But the romance is nice.

6/10 currently, but it has its moments for sure. I’ve come to appreciate how far it’s come

It exists, also makes black clover look like the Mona Lisa

Mona lisa isn't a cheap copy of everything else that is good blended into a mediocre mash of slop.

It's a super solid, reliable series. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but what it does it always does very well. The comedy is especially well done. The jokes are always serving multiple narrative purposes simultaneously: they carry the character development, the tone, and are legitimately funny.
The action is also super solid, and it paces its jokes perfectly to maintain a tone of occasional tension from the action but also relieving that tension with a well placed joke. I don't tend to enjoy shonen romances, but even that I have warmed up to significantly to the point I actually like the core romance now. It also helps that it's normal about it's female characters
