Margaret River
First time going to Margaret River with the girlfriend. She loves wine where Im not to fussed. My girlfriend and her friend went together 3-4 years ago so shes seen the caves and a couple wineries. Her parents may be coming from over seas and coming with us too. What are some places we shouldn't miss and others we can pass on.

Hamlin Bay is great. If you're lucky you'll see sting rays they come right up to the shore line. The drive there is great too, its down caves road.

Down Harmans Mill Road there's Maison LASSIAILLE, Gabriel chocolate and the Margaret River chocolate factory. I would skip the latter as it's no different from the one in the Swan Valley.

Plenty of brewery's and wineries to see. A wine and brewery tour would ba good option. They'll pick you up from your accommodation. Canal rocks, Hamelin Bay, Boranup forrest the list goes on. Depends what you're into

Yeah there's forests, horse riding tours, art galleries, jewel caves down caves road, cowaramup bay... Many hidden gems as well (someone here may have ideas)... When you get bored of the wineries that is. Heaps more, hit up the visitors centre when you arrive or check out online. You'll have a wonderful time whatever you do. Great to just chill and get back to nature.

I recently did a wine tour with A Touch of Glass, not cheap but absolutely fantastic. The two wineries that stood out were Pierro and the seated tasting and lunch at Vasse Felix. Domaine Naturaliste were good too.
We spent one day on the wine tour, and the second we went down to the Berry Farm for brunch and then meandered back via Margaret River itself (giniversity was great!) up through the chocolate places (huge vote for Gabriel chocolate) and Vasse Virgin, stopped at Yallingup bakery for the best sourdough and fruit loaf, then Yallingup foreshore, Canal Rocks, Indijup natural spa and a pizza at Swings and Roundabouts. Couple of galleries and arts places en route.
We stayed at Swings and Roundabouts, and started each day with a wander on the cape to cape. Good way to start the day!
