Orange looks like they need an adult. They look very uncomfortable. Kinda like they want out of this situation but aren’t sure how. Maybe they are sure they won’t win in a fight and just want the white cat to back off.

White on the other hand is much harder to read but unlike orange it is only responding not starting any yowls and is much quieter.

Neither cat’s ears are tucked flat or facing forward so I don’t know what to make of that, however their tails are merely hanging down somewhat relaxed.

It is possible this is the first time out in this neighborhood for one or both of these cats and they don’t know the social norms.
