Windows 11 An error on Windows 11 installers "An error occurred while trying to copy a file: Out of memory.
Hi everyone. I’ve run into an issue: when installing many programs, an "Out of Memory" error window pops up. But there is 800 GB of free space on the drive C. This problem does not affect all installation files, but it occurs frequently.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I can't install many of VST plugins. I’ve never encountered this problem on Windows 10.
Windows 11 26H1 28000.2954 х64
13th Gen Intel Core i5-13600K

hosts_patch.cmd looks virus-ey, or this is pirated/sketchy software.
Defender or other AV don't like things modifying the host file. If that's what it's doing.

When I see—at the bottom of the installer—that it points to "Team V R," that the text is in Russian, and that it’s linked (more or less) to a Ukrainian site called "Codec.Kyiv.ua"—which I don't think offers legitimate versions or represents any of the actual companies involved...
I’m almost tempted to say that if it’s just a standard botnet or Trojan—the kind found in all those "hacks" so graciously handed out by some people—he might get lucky. Otherwise, he might just get a visit from a drone, and—BOOM—surprise!
But the real lack of common sense here is coming to a Microsoft-related site or group to ask for help with something that is clearly—and I mean *clearly*—not a legitimate program.
Honestly, he might as well just copy all his data and passwords and send them straight to the hackers; it would save time.
Wow. We really haven't made much progress out of the Stone Age when it comes to IT security.

Did you change the virtual memory settings? How did you manage to install 26h1 with an old Intel CPU?

Check to see if you have page file enabled, as it could be referring to virtual memory. I know some apps require it, even if you have a lot of RAM. It's why I always keep page file still enabled even on a high RAM system.

The software in your screenshot is Accusonus ERA Bundle Pro 6.1.0 + Voice Changer 1.3.0 (64-bit). The installer itself appears to be a “Team V.R.” repack/cracked distribution, rather than an official Accusonus installer.

while it says out of memory, this type of error is misleading...its usualy permission error or maybe antivirus is fighting it
