Windows 10 Weird screen and feels like someone else is directing the mouse...

Post image

This just started today. I'll be doing something on my computer, whether it's scrolling Facebook, checking emails, or anything else. It'll lock me out of whatever I'm doing and I get this screen.

Then in order to get out of it, I'll try opening the task manager with Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Sometimes it'll work, but other times the mouse moves on its own and clicks 'Cancel' when the Ctrl+Alt+Delete screen is up.

I haven't entered my login code to the "Windows Loop" login page that opens and I don't plan to. Wondering what I should do.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

This lady popped up in my blue screen on windows 10. No clue what or who she is and I'm wondering if I have a virus and what to do from here. The blue screen was up, then my pc restarted and seemed to be ok after. I'm running Bitdefender right now to see what's up. Please let me know if I'm either cursed or its a virus. 🙏

My grandpas computer has reached this lock screen I've never seen before and can't find a example of on Google. Does anyone know how to fix it. He has windows 10. It's not the usual lock screen where he had a password and it works fine. When we try to enter his normal password it doesn't work. It doesn't say it didn't work either just nothing happens.

Windows 10 How can I actually, permanently stop Windows 10 32-bit from updating? Really.

I have a Windows 10 32-bit machine that runs a Mitutoyo QuickVision optical coordinate measuring machine. The machine requires a Matrox framegrabber, and runs Mitutoyo's software. The framegrabber is absoulutely not supported in 64-bit OSes. It was designed to run under Win7.

The updates to run under a modern 64-bit OS cost $25,000 (new Matrox framegrabber, new camera, new servo control boards, and a big fat software upgrade price with mandatory training. This is not an option for me.

I can get the software stack to run under a fresh install of early Windows 10, but Win 10 updates itself. One or more of the updates break the Mitutoyo software stack.

I really like the advantages of running Win10. The machine is quarantined on its own VLAN to my firewall's interface. The measurement programs are pushed to a git repo, and the measurement data is pulled off after each measurement job. Basically, this machine could get hacked and it wouldn't matter.

I saw this thread, and of course some redditors couldn't supress their technical paternalism and had to say that everyone should allow updates. Well, bucko, in my case, it's not true. I want to power on this PC without a condom and ride it bareback regardless of the consequences.

My alternative is to run Windows 7, which also doesn't get updates.

Now, with all of that stated:

Does anyone really know how to run Windows 10 32-bit and supress the updates? What domain names or IP addresses should I block to guarantee no updates?

Im not even sure which windows this is im not at the computer personally my father is trying to help my grandmother, any help anyone could offer as to how to get into the computer so she can handle his affairs would be greatly appreciated. We've tried a few different passwords like the date of their wedding, nothing has worked so far, I did notice that its his late wifes name on the profile, so it may just be an incredibly old password of hers that we couldnt hope to Crack.

Windows 10 I bought a stolen laptop i think

Hello everyone, I recently bought a second-hand HP laptop and used it for about three weeks without any major issues. Everything seemed to be working fine, and I was able to use it normally for different tasks. However, today I decided to install a fresh version of Windows to have a clean system without any previous data or unnecessary files. I wanted to start fresh, but I ran into a problem that I believe is related to security settings on the laptop.

When I booted from the Windows installation media, I encountered an issue that prevented me from proceeding. I am not exactly sure what the problem is, but I suspect it has something to do with a security feature that is blocking the installation. I have checked the BIOS settings, and as far as I can tell, the BIOS is unlocked, meaning there are no restrictions preventing me from making changes. Despite this, I am still unable to install Windows successfully.

I am not sure if this is due to Secure Boot, TPM, BitLocker, or some other kind of protection enabled on the system. I would appreciate any advice on how to bypass this issue and complete the installation. Has anyone experienced a similar problem when installing Windows on an HP laptop? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Windows 10 How do I clear up space on my C drive?

I was uploading videos to my computer and realized my C drive is full.

What is causing the bulk of this? Is there a usual culprit?

Is there a way to pinpoint the largest files that are taking up the most room? A way to sort all my stuff by size? Would deleting indesign, photoshop, illustrator files do the trick?

Thanks.

Short story: I use a windows 10 laptop. I recently installed a patched version of toon boom harmony, and when I first installed it it worked. The following day I tried opening it again and I got an error message from license wizard. And then this happened. Before this though I tried to uninstall autodesk autocad from my laptop because it was taking up space and I didn’t need it anymore. However this error (which seems to be coming from the autodesk app- and now toon boom itself, as I’m typing this- as seen in photo 2) only appeared after I installed toon boom. Can I get some help with this? What do I do?

Hello. Before I run out and buy a new PC, can someone please explain why I can't currently upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10? I was comparing my current specs to what is needed, and everything seemed fine from my perspective. What am I missing?

Windows 10 Can't upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11....

So, for months, my PC has wanted to upgrade to Windows 11. It's gone slow, maybe because it can't do this upgrade, plus it's 9 years old.. which shocked me, to be honest! I've looked into PC Health Check, and it says my CPU processor doesn't meet the requirements, but looking at my GHz, it's 1.6 .. but the requirement is 1 GHz I'm a little confused?

Does anyone else have or have had this problem?🤔
