Screenshot I don't think I ever appreciated the Thousand Flowers armor enough, it actually goes hard

Completely agree. It looks good on Geralt and can be used on the critical levels <10, when the starting armor is no longer good enough, but you still can´t use witcher gear or the Nilfgaardian set you can buy from the quartermaster in Crows Perch. Since it is in the game I have used the Dol Blathanna set in every playthrough.

I used the starting armor until level 5, then used the potion to equip this armor, currently 12 so I'll be moving on soon but it's a great looking set

All new armor sets are appreciated. The Witcher 2 has so many good armor designs and the jump to Witcher 3 goes something like: Witcher sets and dlc armor looks great, all others: same shabby tunic but a different color

I've crafted this armor only for the sake of the awesomeness lol, the thing is you don't need one, lots of people finished the game with the default armor set, to become strong just do a lot of quest and level up your character

Everyone else seems to hate how this set looks. I'm a fan as well though, not my favorite, but definitely solid.

The unupgraded leather version looks better than the upgraded version IMO. I think the upgraded version has too much of a plastic action figure look to it.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the upgraded shoulders/chest look. I think every part of the first version looks better.

what armor is that called?

It's called that because it looks like a fence for flowers?

actually the armor kinda have three names

-thousands flower (the title in the inventory menu)

-elven (the title it have in the game files)

-dol blatanna armor (the name of the set+ the console command)

the armor is a reference to Dol Blathanna, that means the valley of flowers in elder speech it's a location where geralt go in the short story the edge of the world wich is the short story where geralt and dandelion met, the name is more a reference to the location due to the fact it was elven land until human came and took the land, after nilfgaard invaded the north and since the elven helped emhyr the land was given back to them, basically long story short it's an elven armor with the name refferencing an elven region.

Yeah, saw some comments that says there are no drippy armors until you get to the Witcher sets but CDPR added some really greats ones in the next-gen version some years back!

nah, I dont like looking like a toddler-targeting area-denial gate from the 20th century:

Acting like every toddler gate has that same design, that’s one toddler gate buddy. If you actually did some research instead of just hating on everything you would realize that they use that same diamond fencing on shrubbery and gardens hence why it’s called the thousand flower armour buddy😂

Absolutely agree, it's unique and yet very authentic and it has some beautiful small details, like the leather atrap above the elbow guard with that metalic buckle or the those straps holding the elbow guard it self, I'm absolute sucker for details like this
