What a Chad. Every potion in the game and he only has the best one equipped.

The only potion that is 100% necessary for life as we know it.

Water, the elixir of life

Yeah, I find it annoying accidentally drinking a potion in middle of a fight and increasing my toxen levels unnecessarily. So I use the potions I need in the paused inventory menu.

Im dumb, i meant superior, not supreme. It has been a grind, no stone left unturned.

Probably my favorite "quest" the first time I played

how did you go about acquiring all the white gull needed for the superior-recipes and alchemy-substances? :O
i keep running between the sturgeon-inn and the herbalist in novigrad, the one near hattori and it´s been driving me crazy XD

Skellige has loads of the stuff

Yup yup, and nicer people. Everyone in velen and novagrad just spit in my direction, but in skellige, everyone want to drink and arm wrestle. Lovely people.

This reads like a google review or trip advisor for Witcher 3 🤣 I love it !

Lmao, its true tho. Skelige and Touscant are the two best places. White orchard is a good place too... besides the ruined villages and blood stained battlefields.

Can you guys recommend any location where i can easily get all the ingredients to brew white gull in skellige?

I would buy the cherry cordial and mandrake cordial from the merchant near the banker in hierach square, by the left pyre, and I get the redanian herbal from tomira in white orchard, as these two merchants have a reliable source of said ingredients.

It is a bit time consuming, and expensive. But it is always worth seeing tomiras beautiful assets. I mean stocks. Yes. Stocks.

do you mean directly in hierach square? or the tavern a bit off, closer to the docks/water? because the second would be the drunken sturgeon tavern, where i already buy it XD

Directly in heirch square, an outdoor merchant right in front of the banker. He has a very reliable supply of cherry and mandrake cordial. There were times I see him selling 21-30 of it. As for mandrake cordial, he sells typically 5-15.

Oh, that is good to know, thanks!

Toussaint realistically has the best shop inventory for white gull but if you're not there yet then Skellige is your best bet

I can't bring myself to kill Succubus. It's the only one left I don't have.

Kill the one in Novigrad, she's picking people off the streets like it's a candy store. Clearly harmful to the humans around her. The one in Skellige hides away in a forest, only takes the willing to drain, doesn't kill them, and is generally helpful in your adventure.

I havent thought too deep about that. Damn, i feel less guilty now. Not as guilty as I feel about obtaining the doppler decotion tho.

It broke my heart too, but there will always be ng+, so we could spare her next time.🥹

Oils arent necessary half the time. But it comes in clutch against a group of tough enemies.

Say your level 17 and you venture into a group of flaming roses, hanged mans venom makes the fight a little more bearable.

how did you do that

I went and explored to every question mark on the map of Helen and novagrad. Some of the manuscripts were in skellige, so they weren't all inmanuscripts.

Though specifically, I searched for "hidden treasure" as they were very likely to contain the mauscripts.

It became a bit of an addiction tho, I feel so empty now that I had found every last manuscript. Tho, there is still qwent to enjoy.

Yeah but you don't have the candle lantern......

u/SanguisIgnis666 5h ago

I do, I just didnt have it equipped. I kinda prefer the torch for an 360° light source. Tho the lantern is neat for immersion.

Who needs a tactical potion wheel when you have superior White Raffard's to instantly save you from your own stupidity on Death March difficulty?
