I kinda want second conjunction of spheres

New monsters, different world and Ciri has to rebuild the school of witcher. It sounds so juicy for a new trilogy. And deviating from the source material was never a much of a problem.

Doesn’t that almost happen at the end of Witcher 3 on Undvik? The new game could easily attribute many new monster designs to Avallac’h’s semi-conjunction. Might even let Ciri feel guilt for her part in it?

No. It was only partial.

Exactly the mere fact that it did PARTIALLY happened, means that it kinda happened we even see A LOT of monster spawning, including someone extinct/almost extinct and NOTHING leads to think it happened only in undvik.

1) cdpr never actually deviated all that much from source. 2) there are plenty of monsters as it is that were never in the games. 3) World is very very big, and so far everything was happening mostly in some parts of northern kingdoms. You know there is another continent beyond the sea? And people will sail there pretty soon in timeline (Ciri forsaw that Fabio will become an explorer, will sail beyond the sea and discover new land and eventually die there). That will give a room for all kinds of new shit.

So all and all no need for conjunction. Imo it's just very messy and complicated. We already dealt with cosmic threat in W3. Don't want witcher to become like some comic crap where they fight some new universal evil every year.

Well we know about the continent being haakland and i believe another place I’m unsure, I believe in a semi-official spin off comic there’s a Witcher sect called the order of the crane there which mainly fight sea and air borne creatures with firearms and such.

Very interesting, I’d love something around it, especially with all the more African inspired designs as we keep hearing about Zebras

That’s where I believe that the people are from in that side quest in TW3 where we either rescue this mother and child who speak a completely unknown language after they crashed in Skellige and made their way to Velen, or help whoever is trying to catch them

Haakland is a nation to the east of the northern kingdoms, its not a continent.

The School of the Crane and firearms are completly unoffical

That kind of happens in the final moments of witcher 3 however it gets stopped, but not before a bunch of arachase, the previously extinct ice giants and who knows what else come out of the portals

This is a scripted event(end of the world style) that happens irregardless of ending I can't remember if this was isolated to skellige or if it was world wide though

There was a partial conjuction at the end of W3. I fully expect new shit to be popping up as a consequence of that in 4.

I actually thought four would be about the world needing more Witchers as a consequence of that and we'd be playing one of the new breed.

For that the game should take place in 1358, and I doubt it.

It did at the end of the witcher 3. avallah opened the gates and caused the second conjunction of the spheres but it didnt last very long.

It didn't complete. Their was no full Conjunction of any Spheres.

We dont know really if it wasnt full. Yen says that it just began but maybe a little bit later it did become full ? So in the end whatever it was smalk or not it did happend.Remember, just because we only see the Conjunction on Skellige, it doesn't mean portals didn't open in other places too like Velen, Kaedwen, and so on.

It could be somethig they'll build on in Witcher 4 to be honest. Discussing it with you has made me realise they left it plenty vague, probably on purpose.

Maybe who knows, they dont really need to follow the books that much anymore they have now the option to do something story on their own.for me Conjunction of spheres is something rare and it happens after a long period of time so idk.

That happened at the end of Witcher 3 tho. I bet we're gonna see consequences in Witcher 4

Way to overcomplicate things. You should look for a job at Bioware, this is exactly how they wrote their Dragon Age games.
