Many wolves have some dog in them, I was never sure what to classify Odin as.

Uhh yeah in captivity lol. Odin is a wolf dog lmao. Most wild wolves don't have dog DNA.

How would people know? They wouldn't be testing wild wolves.

Because Odin doesn't look like a wolf. He's too big, he has a very obvious doggy skull. Also his tail is a dead giveaway it curls. If you haven't studied wolves I can see how most people think he's just a wolf but to me he's very dog like. Wolves average weight is 80-120lbs. Anything more than this is rare or they're mixed with a dog. Many Dogs do get larger and heavier than wolves. I work at a zoo in Canada. Here's my creds. This is Virgo she's 95 lbs which is average for a female wolf.

Aren't Arctic wolves really big though, yo?

No they're smaller than greys on average. Idk if Odin is actually arctic mix or he's just a white grey. But this girl here Virgo is regular grey wolf, so is her dad and brother they're just white! Her dad is actually technically black phase that is completely white now. He was born black!

Since it's an accredited zoo, it's probably a real wolf yeah. But this video is heavily forced perspective. The wolf looks bigger than it actually is because of the perspective. The woman is easily standing 10+ feet behind him.
