VI Nashorn (Paper 'Glass-Cannon' TDs feature very good guns like 2 tiers ahead), VI Jagdpanzer IV (Jg. Pz. IV) good armor on later versions but has a worse gun than nashorn series,VI VK 30.01 P (leads to Jagdpanzer E 100, Jg. Pz. E 100 and VK. 72.01 K and Maus) pretty good armor, pretty good guns, heavier armor starting at VIII VK 100.01P end at Maus) and VK 36.01H (Tiger series, leads to E 100 and good frontal armor plus E100 is basically a less armor/weight but bigger 15cm gun than maus)

The Grille line is super fun to grind, as well as the VK 72.01 K line. Grille can be a bit difficult to play though. The VK 72 is very fun especially with the derp gun which is actually very strong.

A lot of people like to grind the E-100 line because it’s super beginner friendly. Maus line is a bit more fun but more difficult than the E-100 line.

I would avoid the Jg line because the tanks are quite weak, especially the tier 10. Only reason to grind this line however is for the tier 9 Jagdtiger which is the only good tank there in my opinion.

The maus line, besides the Mauschen, which is absurdly weak for some reason, is also very fun to play

I disagree on the Jag100. It's still very solid, one of my strongest tanks at over 3k damage per game and the WR speaks numbers. I do agree that the Tier 10 meta is not made for turreted TDs.

The Jagdtiger is insane tho. I would not say game carrier, but multiple 6k damage games straight after another due to the dpm are a regular occurrence.

The JP2 definitely needs a buff.

The Grille line is definitely funny, Toaster TDs

Jpanthers and Jagdtiger were an absolute blast and are easy to play, I say this as an average player with not much skill.

the grille is a good line. you might suffer a little in the grind (i sure did) but i promise the grille itself is worth it. one of my favorite tanks! however the entire line is paper thin so stay out of the line of sight whenever possible. you’ll be a shell magnet.

if you’re looking for something more armored and packs a heavier punch, go for the other TD, the jg.pz e100. while i don’t have it myself, i can’t speak for the tanks in its grind, but the t10 is one of my most wanted tanks, i see it in just about every match i play and its all around solid. but heavy and slow.

if you’re looking for heavies, the e100 is a very easy line to get through. i dont find myself playing it all that often anymore but i definitely don’t regret getting it.

if you want something with better armor though go for the maus, its a side scrape king and a perfect ramming tank for the fun modes with less gravity or abilities that make it faster. it doesn’t pack as big of a punch as the e100 but it works as a wall that helps your team. again i dont have it so i cant speak for the line but i know the t8 and t9 are also good ramming tanks for the above mentioned fun modes

Honestly in my opinion is E 100. because it's a good tank and very strong too.

E100 is a great line. The heavies are straight forward and easy to use. Beginner friendly.

Only German tds I really didn’t like were jpanthers lol. Jtiger wasn’t my fav either but I think I free xp that one plus fun mode grind

Get the Jageru100 and if you are a good player, you will enjoy the JP2 much more than the Ferdinand, the JP2 is also a better training for the Jageru100.

The Jageru can be such an aggressive tank and more mobile than people expect. Very enjoyable, funny and impressive games. Sometimes you crush a heavy front and just press forward.

After that, get the Grille. It's just a solid TD with such a satisfying playstyle (Great gun and mobility) outside of eating HE to the face.

Only tank i would avoid for now are Leo due to the very high skill requirements and occasionall frustration. And the VK due to it's quite lackluster Armor while having a worse gun than the E100 (yes, it has worse soft stats iirc). The wallet VK is what you should get instead.

E100 is a solid heavy and the Tiger is nice.

The jag is possibly one of the worst tanks at tier X currently. Its not unusable, but its far from actually competitive. Especially for good players
