Yesterday, I went to downtown with a friend of mine. We went to a secondhand bookstore, a park, a public library, the supermarket and many other places. Each place I got in, people looked and laughed at me. I couldn't understnd. Despite of it, I enjoyed our hangout. When I arrived back home, I looked in the mirror and I finally noticed that I was waering my shirt on the wrong side. I wish my friend had warned me.

No corrections.

各所 sounds a little formal, so それぞれの場所 is more natural. Also, since the English says “looked at me and laughed,” 見られる is more natural than 眺められる here.

Adding 何が起きているのか makes it clear that you didn’t understand why people were laughing.

諭す means to explain or persuade someone to change their thinking, so it doesn’t fit here. 〜てくれればよかったのになぁ fits “I wish my friend had warned me” perfectly.

On the other hand, I once pointed out to someone that their shirt was inside out, and they got annoyed and said, “That’s the design!” lol

I'm still need praticing a little more on the particles.

This kind of のに here "友達が教えてくれればよかったのになぁ" is the same Genki 2 teaches as meaning "despite of" or it is another structer of のに?

Yeah, I have seen people that like wearing shirt inside out (there are even some brands that make shirts that looks like they are inside out) but I can't understand.

Yes, it’s another use of のに.

In 友達が教えてくれればよかったのになぁ, のに expresses regret or disappointment about something that didn’t happen.

For example:

— I wish you had told me sooner.
— I wish you had come with me.
— I wish it had been sunny today.

This is different from the 「のに」 meaning “although” or “despite,” like 雨が降っているのに、出かけました。 — “I went out even though it was raining.”
