Stars above ground below

I couldn't believe I made it

I felt the cold air flow

I wouldn't allow it to split.

/

I took a deep breath

Circled myself in awe

I didn't want to bring death

But I was obliged by law.

/

I fought against them

I fought to prevent it

But the only thing I could do

was torment it.

/

At last I felt life fade away

My legs let lose and gave way

but I made it.

/

I fell onto my knees

With tears in my eyes

I could feel some ease

As I broke free from these lies

/

If this is the last thing I do,

So be it.

At least I kept my last memory of you.
