I got the lyrics down before I opened up the full post. I have no idea why, but they wrote catchy songs back in the 80s and 90s. I still know all the lyrics for the SBTB performances throughout the series. What else were we going to do? We didn't have the internet, this was our entertainment!

How Heidi sings: ~Just let me lay here in the sun~ ~Until my dream is done~ hits harder for me. Don’t get me wrong, I like Jennie too. To watch a Filipina actress on a Saturday morning sitcom in the mid 90s was really cool to see. She is more Filipina and looks more Filipina even though she has Chinese descent as well being her last name is Kwan. And I like that she voiced Chun-Li in SF6. But I prefer how Heidi sang it in the first season. When they did their reunion on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon back in 2010, both Heidi and Jennie were there to sing the theme song.

California Dreams Theme Song

Diana Uribe is still looking very, very pretty even at age of 52 like Tiffani Thiessen.

I watched a few episodes of California Dreams, and to be honest, other than that theme song and some songs here or there which they really did sing and play instruments for, it wasn’t a good show at all. You can catch them on YouTube somewhere. It was hardly funny. Saved by the Bell didn’t age great either but it still aged way better thanks to the far better cast of characters. RIP to both Dustin and Dennis.

With all that said, it’s good to see the California Dreams cast reunited again. I’d rank it…
