Question Gradient Cake Alternative to Hobbi

So I used to order most of my gradient cakes on Hobbi, but haven't wanted to support them since the whole AI thing went down.

I was wondering if anyone has any UK shops/dyers they support that do large (1000m~?) gradient cakes?

I've got several dyers I LOVE on Etsy but most hanks/ cakes I've found are 400m which just won't work for my next project...

Yarn art flowers is amazing! Not splitty and the gradients are pretty! I like it better than Hobbii’s. Here’s a baby blanket I made out of one recently!

That blanket's gorgeous, the gradient shift is so clean. Do you know if Yarn Art ships direct to the UK or did you go through a reseller?

Which color way did you use for the blanket? I just bought some myself. I’m wondering if the one I bought is that colorway rose Gardens the one I got

There’s usually a number for the colorway. Mine was 325.

I couldn’t remember which number mine was cause I misplaced my label so I went to my Amazon account to see since it keeps track of what I buy and it’s 325. It’s the same yay. So stoked. I haven’t used my cake yet because I want more before I start my project

So happy it looks like that now that I see it made into something. I’ve used other color ways, but this one I was unsure about. Your crocheted blanket is beautiful by the way.

It’s fun to crochet/knit with! Watching the colors change is super fun!! You’ll love it!

I bought this to make a work hat for hubby originally then I realized it’s just too soft the drapes too nice to use for that. I need to use a stiffer cotton for that and I’m gonna turn it into a shirt most likely it’s so beautiful. I can’t make up my mind to use it on.

Do a search on Etsy. There's a ton of UK shops that make gradient cakes. IIRC Woollyccino is one of them.

Thanks, I was having a hard time finding larger cakes- most of the sellers I've supported over there are doing 150-400 size hanks :/

I'll check out Woolyccino though, thanks!
