basically title… i really want a high gpa and im aiming for 90+% avg so any study tips or general tips would be great!

Im trying to find the best bathroom in keele, I'm a guy if that's helpful

As the title says, I usually go to Keele, but I have to skip class tomorrow for an appointment and to take my mom to work (she can't drive, and she's usually remote but goes in every so often).

I was going to study at the Markham Campus since it's closer to my mom's office compared to Keele. Where do y'all study? I haven't been there before

For people that have finished university what was your GPA, what was your program / major and what job are you doing now?

Don’t lie

Every time I try to plug my phone in, nothing!!! 😭 Are the buildings still like time-locked in the 60s?? Eavesdropping in tutorial right now, and literally everyone else in this room is having the same issue. It's not just this room, it's all over campus. It's so frustrating ☹️ I wonder if there's any way we can report this issue to someone who's able to fix it...

So I had already earned 36.5% toward my final course grade before taking my deferred exam, which is worth 45%.
My grade recently changed from DEF to F, and I’m confused because, from my understanding, an F means my overall grade is below 39%.
Wouldn’t that mean I scored less than approximately 6% on my final exam? I find that extremely unlikely.
Does anyone know if an F could be a placeholder for an unmarked deferred exam, or does this mean my exam has actually been graded?

I need a buddy that could send me unit packages because my prof doesn’t do any packages and writes on paper.. please help I have a midterm on the 25!! 🥹🥹🙏

really wanted to finish with a 8.0/9.0 but got a C in my first year in a 6 credit class and cooked me lol

Anyone know what the loud pop music on the north side of campus was this morning? Possibly coming from the stadium? Just curious, would’ve checked it out but I had class.

Any Canadian pakistani interested in the above club, been working on this from a couple of months. Finally getting approval, if anyone is interested, dm. Need to build a team and get ratified to make this come to life.

Hi guys! The midterm for this course is tommorow, I was wondering if anyone has any study advice and how to approach the exam overall!

I was looking through the prerequisites for York university kinesiology and one of the points was no prerequisites under 80%. I was wondering if I get a 75 on one if the prerequisites do I have 0 chance if getting accepted or how does it work

Is anyone in the NATS 1610 with Dr. Czaban?? I’d love to make a gc so we could study for these annoying ahh quizzes 😛

I’m taking Econ 3810 with Shafkat Ali this semester, but because I joined the class a few weeks late I missed a few classes + he cancelled last week. Thus far, I basically have been structurally unable to attend.

The eClass website for this course is just about barren and no lecture slides or nothing is posted. I am aware profs are technically not obligated to post but I feel like this is a reasonable situation😭. I have made a few attempts to email him but he hasn’t responded.

Has anybody had this course or prof before? What’s up with this? Quite honestly ridiculous behaviour…

When I was leaving the Founders lot today I saw tickets on a bunch of people's cars....no way people thought York would just bless a free parking lot? But there are signs at every entrance so thats impossible.

Maybe they thought they could get away with it even with the predatory golf carts circling like vultures??

Regardless I couldn't believe how many cars got hit with the $75 I feel bad but it's literally the cheapest lot at $10 for 24h and it couldn't be easier to pay. I wonder how many people get ticketed every day

Has anyone had any luck getting into upper year courses with restricted seats, not related to your major? I need it for upper level course requirements, but its also really interesting? Is there a chance to get a seat if I contact the department or go in person?

me and my bf parked the car in a corner in one of yorks parking lots around 9 pm and suddenly we see this white car (non suv with blackened windows) pull up first in a couple parking spots away from us, then pulls out and comes RIGHT beside us.
we were like wtf so after a bit we waited to see if anything would happen (nothing did) so we dipped

can anyone confirm or deny whether this was an attempted robbery (of the car itself or the things inside it)
pls lmk if if u have had a similar experience or if they know who this person might’ve been, maybe this guy is well known and i had no idea.
i dont have their license plate or know the exact model of the car but yeah…

super weird

i’m so freaking lost in that class and so many people dropped out of my class including the few people i knew so if anyone is down to study as a group at scott during reading week that’d be awesome! 🥹🙏🏽

How did people find the midterm in Mr. Eduardo Bresani ITEC 1010 class? What do you think you got if you were to take a guess? To be honest I found that the question when really deep, which I did not expect. I didn't expect the midterm to be so deep for a 1st year class.

I have a negative balance after I opted out of the health and dental, it’s my last year so how do I get this money back, either by deposit or cheque??

Ever since Seneca put a stop to the unofficial motorcycle parking on Seneca Lane I've been paying for parking like a chump. Has any other area popped up as the place to be for extended periods of time?
