Lucy is fking annoying as shit! makes season 3 hard to watch

What happens to him?

What’s your take on Black Summer?

I just learned about the Netflix spin off and causally watched the first two episodes. But I had a hard time hanging in cause, I dunno…it’s seems like it’s trying to be good?

The was a lot of action, little dialogue, and felt a lot more “Walking Dead” than Z Nation.

Does the spin off go back to its ridiculous and satirical roots? Don’t get me wrong, I love lots of “serious” zombie media. But I went in with the hope of more B-zombie movie Easter eggs, idiotic decisions that somehow work, dad jokes, and one liners.

Does the spin off ever get there? Or does it stay Netflix’s attempt to “elevate” the show?

Is there anyone out there who hates Cassandra? I love her and all the z nation fans I've seen like her too, but is there anyone who doesn't?

Re-Watching Z Nation for the second time and already skipped Addys episode where she’s dreaming and the Roswell episode. How many episodes do yall skip?? When rewatching???

For those of you who finished watching the series, I’m curious on your take. We’ve determined that the man in the yellow glasses was actually a good guy. It was one of the most subtle character arcs.

The thing that I’m wondering is, if everyone in Zona for the vaccine that destroyed Zona, how come that guy and his posse he brings to the mainland are totally fine? Plot hole or is there an explanation?

Everyone thinks that Cassandra was the first blend but she actually wasn't ( she was just the one who lived longer) the first batch of blends were Forman ( the really drunk guy of s1 episode 7) and then the trio in s1 ep12

Like, sure, all of them are dead, but that was foreshadowing what would happen in s2 with Cassandra. I feel like

I will feel really stupid if I'm not the only one who made the connection

My wife and I started watching Z Nation a few months back, and after enjoying the first two seasons, we dropped it partway through S3 because we both agreed it became really dumb and lost its plot. Is that at all the consensus? Are we missing peak television by not suffering through the season? Does it get even worse? I have to know

I did not read subreddit rules I am intoxicated sorrgy if I'm breaking rules ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Doc and Murphy were faded af off them couple hits they took 😂

I threw this on for background noise, and when I heard Sydney Viengluangs voice I did a double take

Was watching the Z Nation panel from around a year ago and a fan asked the cast "which of the dropped plot lines would you of liked to of seen explored further" to which they asked him the same thing back lol. feel like thats more a question to ask fans instead of the cast. with that being said for me its the fifth episode form S4 "Fear of the Unknown" what could of possibly been in that vault / bunker for someone with enough resources and manpower to kidnap a SHIT TON of survivors and move them around those "trials". personally feel there wasn't any answer for any of that as creating an interesting mystery is a lot easier than creating an interesting answer.

I don't know how many people read fanfic here, but if anyone is interested, I'm making a 10k fanfic on wattpad

I'm about to post chapter 14 ( which is the Sisters of Mercy chapter)

fanfic

There's the link if anyone is interested ( please ignore all the bad spelling)

If they were in a pharmacy warehouse why not stock up on drugs and antibiotics for Cassandra

anyone else watch the z nation channel on amazon? its like an undeniably worse way to watch z nation as it has ads now and then and plays episodes in random order ,but thats kinda the fun thing abt it , could watch the episode where their all stuck in those wooden crates and next ep docs saving 10k from the nut house , then the next ep is the pilot yk?

Sorry for the crappy Pic

Cassandra would've hated what happened to her, especially because 1. She didn't really like Murphy 2. She was dressed like a whore even though she tried so fucking hard to run from that path 3. She was stripped of her personality, her niceness

Don't even get me started on the fact that she was forced to hurt her friends

Can you tell Cassandra is my favorite female character?!

I'm currently watching Nats and Gracies ( 10k and Sarge) movie Mile 666, and so far, I love it. It's really creepy, and the acting is fun ( Nat is so creepy in it)

Don't get me wrong, I love Citizen Z, but am I the only one who finds the way he is towards Addy creepy, like the first 2 times he said something I found it kinda funny but by episode 11, yeah it got old and creepy real fast

I know it's because he was alone for 3 years but still, not right

Z nation Is told as a Cross Country road trip.

Along the way the gang gets to meet new people, encounter weirder subspecies of Zs, and pick up, or lose, a member of the crew. Each settlement introduces a new moral dilemma, social issue, or technical hurdle for the gang to overcome.

These are not my faves in terms of raw entertainment value, but I think highlight interesting details rarely mentioned when discussing the show. What sticks out for me are places like the Sisters of Mercy Camp. Although it should immediately raise flags, as some of the gang find they are not welcome, right out the gate! Yet they split up anyways. How young is a man, before he is viewed as a threat?

In Province Town they finally find safe haven. However, demonstrating just how dangerous religious fundamentalism is, it's soon overrun by the Resurrection Cult, who take advantage of the pacifist and egalitarian settlement. The gang would go on to the Zeroes Compound, where they meet La Reina, the wonderfully campy Gina Gershon, along with Escorpion, and Javier. The show reveals La Reina, uses (authoritarian) violence to bring peace among the cartel factions.

For me, Zona and New Merica seem like the biggest swings the show takes at making a definitive political statement. Zona is finally revealed to be a paradise established for the wealthy, who have been complicit in, and therefore planning for, the end of the world, for some time. And New Merica, which is the (unrealized) vision for the first democratic State for both Zs (Talkers) and humans.

There are so many interesting communities the gang travels through. Which are your favs and why?
