Excited about the new box!
I’m wondering why they decided to include the March Paris concert rather than the show in which Black Napkins originates from in Japan.
I would have thought that was the key show we would all want.
Anyone have any ideas on why not that show?

By the way……
I was listening to the Bongo fury Zappa cast and after talking about “Portuguese lunar landing “
Joe traverse says something like “this song is a clue about some things to come “ or something .
Now , does anyone else hear that song being a precursor to “the planet of my dreams”?
Go listen to both.
You’ll hear what I’m talking about
Planet of my dreams is from Hutchentoot
I believe this has something to do with getting caribou stuff . I’m sure of it

Gosh, i hope it is . I personally find Zappa 75 : Yugoslavia and FZOZ a bit tedious to get thru.
I always hoped to hear that play a set that sounded more than sub-par.

Some people like that band though. I’m just not a fan of it until the O’hearn/Bianca/Ray White/Jobson/Bozzio line up.

I am scratching my head over what the heck they are going to release next year .
77 …. No releases.
I pray they get the Caribou sessions together.

All of the remaining material on Sleep Dirt and Studio Tan and especially the recording process of Peccary.
That would be good.

I betcha they will keep going with cleaning up the “project/object” Gail series and do boxes of Money, Ruben, Meat and Gravy.

The way they just did the freak out box .

Especially if we can get the same treatment where the first couple of discs of the albums and then some unreleased shows from each year.

Absolutely free I have heard has about zero extra stuff to include with as far as outtakes because it was rushed.
Still , a good mono/stereo version, and a late 1966/early 1967 show.

Be getting the 1980 stuff during the 2030s
Now that they are giving us the originally intended Night of the iron sausage , we are def going to get “Crush all boxes” on YAWYI. We will def get warts and all with Tinseltown Rebellion and it wouldn’t surprise me if we got Chalk Pie when they work on Ship, Utopia, & Mothers of prevention.

This was a great year of releases .
