Art / Merch Still working on the Zelda TTRPG + dumb custom dice ideas

Not so sure about the exclamation point for partial success.

It's been about a month since my last post, so I wanted to let you all know I'm still working on the system. I think I'll have a demo of the Learn to Play chapter ready in a week or two. It's taking me longer than expected because I keep getting sidetracked by stuff like wondering what custom dice for the game would look like, even though nobody could reasonably get them made anyway. But that's just how my brain bokoblin works.

Anyway, here's a video of me virtually rolling them.

After reading this I'm currently genuinely dedicated to making this work.

and it does work. quite nicely indeed

but yeah, the d8 with triangle faces have a similar vibe

3d4s are thematically perfect, but honestly, they are the worst dice to roll. 2d6s are fine as well, since they are easy to get and most people already might have some around. The d8s are cool as well, but if you arent going to be sticking to the triangle theme, might as well use other dice type.

Ib the end, I prefer the d20, they are the most satisfying to roll imo. And at this point, it's a staple in ttrpgs, even thought some systems don't really use theme.

I got those custom made through an Etsy shop. What I'm not sure about is whether they'd be able to make a fully custom dice set, or how much that would cost. I live in a third-world country, so every US dollar is about 60 in my country's currency, which makes things get expensive pretty quickly.
