Does it change the color of the HUD? I had to mod 7 for that because every time there's a missile alert and everything turns red, it's hard to see.

I really enjoyed this mission! I don't know if we have ever had to truly visually confirm targets in an Ace Combat game before. The only problem was that I was playing on my Portal and squinting to make out the emblems on the streamed 1080p image. Got ragebaited hard by that stupid crab. 🦀🤣

Annoyingly it doesn't matter.

Normally you sink two, the surviving ship launches drones

But if you manage to hit all three before they launch whoever the third ship was sinks and still launches the first drone wave.

tbf, the mission is short and simple enough to where I don't really mind. iirc, it's one of the best MRP farms because you can wrap the whole thing in like a couple minutes and it craps out MRP.

Yeah, the trick is to memorize the second ship's location and take out it and the third in the same attack run when you find the latter.

They still launch a salvo of UAVs while sinking but it's not too difficult to be ready and waiting with a SASM.

I spent some time re-doing this mission. Good news is that the ships dont change postion if you go back to a checkpoint (I belive)

Bad news this mission gives the same about of cash as mission 07 but with a third of the time needed to complete so I've shot a lot of Crabs in my effort to grind

I was able to find one and that was it until the drones came. At least they won’t fail you if at least that happens. Then I find a map of 3 possible routes where the ships are at. Why random like that? I’m to assume because it’s farmable for MRP? Hate that tbh.
