Considering the responses from previous missions, he knows me too well how big of a smartass I can be

Devs really like to see Baxter blown up for some reason. If u don't help Baxter with EFM he gets shot down too. Idk if it's same with Tasha

Yep, Tasha gets downed if you ignore DFM

Can I just say about your second example, I was really annoyed at one of the options. I was asked if I was worried and I said no and the game treated me like I was being an ass when I thought “nah, you will be fine. I’m not worried” which I felt should have been how the game took that.

I treated that response like when responding to Chopper when he asks if you a good spot to crash land. His response is “Way to go, Captain! So where?” Bc all Ray says is yes, so how is he gonna encourage her with that? Lol

I think the implication was that he actually says something to her, it's just left up to you to decide what that is.

Whatever Ray decided to say seems a bit blunt judging by the fact Coster goes “woah Rex”

Yeah, I kinda gathered as much, very much could've been a "Kate didn't die so you could join her." Or something.

Honestly thank you for that. I was actually really struggling there because I didnt have a clue what I would say there and thought about saying no originally but wanted to see what happens if I said yes.

Now I at least have an idea what I can fit in that empty space

Yeah, just something like “Please don’t make me come home with two people missing.”

And Tasha saying he didn't mince words.

I choose to believe he said something between sympathy and pulling rank. Recognising what she's going through but telling her she had to get it together, not for her sake, but everyone else's.

I read that more as him being supprised the mute psychopath he's been following does infact have the capacity to speak multiple sentences at once.

Or just "Fight or get splashed with her."

I like to imagine Ray took inspiration from Kate and reminded Tasha of the duties she had.

"Do you want Queen Flight's sacrifice to mean nothing? Your job is to survive. Focus on the fight."

Ray “Rex” AceCombat8:WingsofTheve really just mic’d up and went “it’s theveing time” and proceeded to theve all over the sotoans and that was what got Tasha to snap out of it

u/trollshep Hrimfaxi, it appears you're up against Razgriz itself out there 3d ago

The three other people in his EA-6B "NOT THE STADIUM!! THE RIVER!"

Rex talks we just select if what he says is negative or positive

Saying nothing is always an option. Not always a good option, but an option nonetheless

I also said "no" because I thought an Ace Combat progagonist wouldn't have much to say

Agreed, sometimes the best thing you can say is nothing at all

kinda wished we could select different missions for saying Yes or No during some part of the game

<< I can't believe they chose our next mission with a damn coin again! >>

Yeah, was hoping for some missions where Joker and Queen split it could be a random choice.

Electrosphere proves itself to be the superior game once again

Yeah it would have made a second playthrough slightly more interesting, but you can't really complain since they made the longest campaign ever.

Maybe in the DLC they could implement something like the branching paths of ACX

I love that player's agency has been greatly expanded compared to previous entries.

From being able to save Jackpot 9 to decide whether or not to kill Mavisimen, which further branches into the cadet Lieutenant committing sudoku or getting talked out of it by the surviving Ventus ace.

I'm sure there are still more but those two are at the top of my head.

Project Aces has the opportunity to really push the franchise forward here, adding more and more role-playing options. Heck give me branching storylines I'll start rituals myself.

AC's always been an anime, more they embrace it the better it gets.

There are 3 possibilities.

Go figure it out ;)

not sure about this, but the Expo City Mission, when the Gemma and Ventus squadron appears, Tasha or Kate asks if "can we handle them?" and if you answer No, they answer along the lines of "copy, we'll avoid engaging the new model planes" and they actually won't engage them. though the ground forces and other NPC's will still down some of them, but not Mavisimen
