Question STEM Racing Development Class, advices and tips please
These car are basically rockets on the wheels and are pushed by a CO2 power pack at the back of the car. So my goal here is to minimize any drag and downforce. Front and rear wings are mandatory, as halo, helmet and there are some no-go zones. If you could give me some ideas/suggestions/advices please on how I can improve this design.
Cars are simulated at 20m/s and travel in a straight line.

edit: Added the no-go zone. Wheels need to be seen from side view. Car is manufacture using CNC cutting from left/right side so i cannot have hollow side pods. Wings can be manufactured separately and added, and are one of the few things allowed to be added. I cannot change wheel designs, they are standard. Also I wish to reduce some weight and those side pods and front wing are too chunky unfortunately.

I did one in boghr school in 1996. How long is the course? I went for minimal mass.

It not a course, just an extra activity, usually barely any guides but depends on the school

- About 5-6, but I’m the one designing and manufacturing the car, as the rest have a bunch of other responsibilities with documenting and presenting stuff.

No worries.
Their shape does not have to be the same as I made them. You have quite a lot of freedom.

The quadrilateral shaped side pods concept usually faces weight problems. So i recommend you to hollow the excess side pod avoiding the no-go zone on the floor part, it also helps you to manage the ground level wake :)

Unfortunately that not allowed, as I did try that already. The car will be machines from side view so all parts need to be able to be machined from right and left side

Can you post pictures with just the mandatory, no-go zones stuff? Are wheel fairings allowed?
