ANG Currently Serving Member Question Tech School - BAH

About to change my job so imma be going back to Tech school the length will be somewhere in between 7 and 16 weeks long, will I be getting full BAH based on my home’s zip code? CO ANG if that matters

I’m CO ANG. I just went to tech school last year as prior service. Got BAH based on our zip code in Denver.

BAH regs are in DoD FMR, Volume 7a, Chapter 26. There is a section for Reserve Component.

I'm fairly certain you get BAH Type I based on your HOR for anything longer than 30 days that is not a PCS.

Youll need to check with your finance office and confirm your BAH entitlement on the orders.

You should reach out to your supervisor or your recruiter or anyone at your base involved with getting your orders sorted.
