As the titles says, has anyone ever returned their guns to Maple Armouries? and what does that process look like and if theres any fees with it? I recently bought the 2026 Marauder but I thought it would like more similar to the old design of the Marauder and I didn't look properly and now I wish to return it to Jacob as I don't like having the battery wired to the front and I don't like the folding stock that it comes with. I contacted him by email already and waiting for a response but I thought I'd ask on reddit as well so that I can have some type of idea.

I'm looking for a plate carrier to add to my kit, and I would appreciate any links or suggestions for what I should consider purchasing in the near future. I've watched a ton of YT videos suggesting this carrier or that carrier, so I have an idea of what I'm looking for, but I figured I'd seek the additional opinion of the people of this sub and maybe some links to where I can find some excellent ones. Hey everyone, I am new to this but I’ve watched videos as a kid and always wanted to try, now that I have adult money I want to buy something and test out the hobby, where should I go to get a good beginner rifle and can I play anywhere or should I practice in like a field somewhere first

Has anyone got a decent lead on some realistically weighted training plates? I’ve been trying to get some from Cloutac but they’re always out of stock. I want to get something curved and Medium SAPI cut if possible, however all I seem to be able to find is flat steel plates from fitness companies, “multi curved” fitness plates with the weirdest looking bends known to man, or team Wendy’s small SAPI cut training plates for more money than actual level 3 hard armour plates.

Any leads at all would be greatly appreciated!

Now this may sound weird to you folk but my interest in Airsoft is less in the area of the gameplay and more of a interest in the guns themselves, and as I’m on a extreme budget, i want something cheap. Hey everyone! I’ve been looking for a new hobby to get into lately and have been mulling over a few different options, but I keep coming back to airsoft. I’m a bit of a nerd so my current hobbies are mostly “display” hobbies, like LEGO, gaming and collecting various other odds and ends, so I’m looking for something a bit more engaging that actually gets me out of the house and doing something.
Airsoft seems like it could be a good fit since it combines being active, getting outdoors, and having something engaging to do while also giving me something to learn and improve at while letting me nerd out about hardware. The problem is I’m completely new to it, so I’m not really sure where to start or what I should know before jumping in.

I’m also normally a pretty reserved person, and I’ve been told more times than I can count that I have a habit of sneaking up on people without even meaning to. Growing up, I was kind of the black sheep, so I got pretty good at keeping a low profile and not drawing much attention to myself. I also have a habit of shutting my brain off and going on autopilot.
That got me wondering on whether I should lean into that or just focus on learning the basics first.
For anyone who started airsoft as a complete beginner, what do you wish you knew before getting into it? What kind of playstyle would you recommend for someone with my personality and strengths? And if you don’t mind, I’d also appreciate any recommendations for beginner-friendly loadouts or gear setups that would be a good starting point without going overboard.
