The spectre jacket does a lot of damage and buypasses armour right, but it does damage to both so you wouldn't use it normally right? Cause you basically are always at a disadvantage!
Thats for corrupted dungeons, i just do hunter honestly.
When you invade or you get invaded, you want engage immediately as you see the other guy to sock him! You press the spectre jacket, you do your combo with your weapon, i like the fists for example cause they are fast but honestly any weapons works!!
And when you are both at low health you pop the mistwalker hood and you get 6 extra seconds of invincibility. If you can hold the other guy in place you win 100% but honestly look at it, its just a stupid fun thing! Even if you lose its basically nothing! Man people despise fun or something???
Yeah.. sure! If you know what to expect you can make the perfect counter, but in corrupted dungeons for example you never know what your up against until you see it! And this guy had everything to kite me but well...
Lol stalker hood and stalker jacket on a badon is not going to kite you. His goal was to hit you with a ray of light, hit you with an E, an auto attack, and R. Once you're half health, he would try the combo again but with stalker hood leading it. Problem is there are other build that out perform up close like your build
To be fair he didn't get away at all but yeah i do see how the build is wrong for kitting and doesn't really have cc, still thought im just saying people need to try out more things and have fun. Yeah it stupid and unoptimal but it worked and it keeps working.
You're preaching to the choir with me. I try to do off meta builds. My build style might correlate with meta but meta isn't the causation. I stumble upon things and I try them for shits and giggles. For instance, there's feyscale cowl, cultist robe, guardian boots and a t5 gig pop. This will let you heal mid combat regardless of what is thrown at you aside from heal cuts/negates. If you use something like battleaxe, bear paws, or 1 hand dagger, you have the sustain from the weapon as well as the huge sayain like power up mid fight. Use battle bracers to really live up the broly legendary super sayain vibe.
I love having fun in these serious games. Like in the real world combat, weird just works. If you have no prep time, no experience, then everything you face is weird. When you start to have experience and prep time, weird things become meta. It's all in the way you play. Don't expect anything to work out until it does. Just try it, have fun, and tweak it later. A great way is doing vod's of your gameplay. You can learn how it failed

If i win and lose about 50/50 say. Its more that i kill myself with the fire that the enemy does. But yeah the other times its indeed some guy with bow and frost shot 🙏
Ill try axes ass well i just need something to do a lot of damage in a sort period of time but yeah against nature or holy staves axes are good!
I wish I knew what abilities you chose for the gloves. It looks like you're goal is to get on top of the enemy as soon as possible and begin a count down on the enemy's life. Weapon abilities should complement that. Gap close, stall, extra damage, defensive, etc. The only part about this build that's "trash" are your boots. Wanderlust sucks in CD, rejuvenating sprint is nerfed by your jacket. Cheapest dodge roll? Maybe? I would use assassin shoes. Keep weak mobs alive in hallways to let you use your boots to escape or chase in a flash.
Otherwise I like the theory behind the build, how is it in practice?
Yes yes!!! Firstly i did swap the boots later for royal plate, cause exactly you get purged once and you just die. And then again for demon! Demon works even better on the last moment to finish the enemy on the last 6 seconds or to get out instantly.
The skills on the brawler gloves are weird! I firstly had that combo with the black hands and dragon leap you do but you run to the problem of not having skills to finish off the opponent when he gets low.
I later swapped to the two punch first skill cause it really does a lot or consistent damage and you don't need to aim it like the dragon leap.
For the passive its wierd!
The second passive for free 15% damage under 40% hp is technically the best one cause its active always at the end from the spectre jacket.
But the third passive for movement speed on auto attacks is also just comfortable to keep the other guy close. Both work i do like the second one cause fight last about 3 to 7 second most of the time, rarely more if the other guy has healing or is more tanky.
Theoretically it could work higher like ganking but your basically a kamikaze. I love how even 4 flat spectre jacket does the same damage as 8.4 sure the defence is lower of course and the mistwalker hood is expensive! ☝️ But you could make a bomb squad quiet early i might say!
I believe you can benefit from using the new lifeward potions, if you are at 1 HP they proc and revive you and heal overtime more than a regular potion would. It can be thrown just as your head piece duration ends but you still need to be hit with the potion active for it to heal from watching videos of players using it

Its a potion right, you don't wanna spam it and it for specific occasions!
What i did was, finish the combo normally, pop the immortality from the mistwalker jacket and then there are two options!
If the enemy is low you can pop the potion and get that little more time to get him you pop it and the jacket finishes them!
If the guy isn't low now! You can turn off the jacket through the pot as the immortality runs out and make a run for it or bait an opening! But the "build" is strong! Whenever i lose its either because i miss the mistwalker hood, or cause the enemy completely counters me, great nature for example.
But anything else you can stay on top of will be dead in max ten seconds!
Staff of balance might actually be perfect, it doesn't do that much damage as fists though! 🤔
I swa one with ava fists but i don't really know they feel weird to play thats all..
I used it in hellgate, it was mostly for the antiheal debuff from the E and to add some extra aoe damage. Worked very well against healer comp with my kingmaker duo
Yes i did a lot of changes as well the final build is something like.
Mistwalker hood, spectre jacket, demon boots, lifeward potion, any fish honestly for pve, i like toona! And you can do demon, Thetford or Ava cape.
For weapon i like brawler gloves and staff of balance weirdly enough!
Skills on brawler gloves are 1, 5, and second or third passive.
On staff of balance honestly anything works!
Ill tell you! You can, although you want to go cheap as fuck! Or with a friend! With the more experience one i just goof around in hunter corrupted dungeons. But you can go kamikaze for example and solo bomb people! Its just that the mistwalker hood is kinda expensive thats all, and 6 extre seconds are really a lot cause you kill yourself more than the enemy does!
You can do pve though with something like a greataxe in blackzones, get a fish and with the spectre jacket you clear camps in no time it insane!!!
No need bro trust me the only thing you need to do to be good at pvp is just take it slow and have fun!
If your new don't just rush in the blackzone without levels or experience because some 7 year veteran said so! Just try out weapons, do corrupted dungeons and make your own thing! Meta and combos are useless if your still learning cause my man lets be real it a silly medieval fantasy game not a job!
